Hey guys, does anyone here prop bet MLB? I wanted to start a discussion thread here if one doesn't exist yet since I enjoy it and think well researched props can be profitable. Ill kick things off...

Taking STL vs. HOU - Shelby Miller O6.5 K's -105 tonight. Reasons I like this play are:
1. Miller has a strong K/9 of 9.66 and the Astros lead the league in K's at 839 (works out to 9.3 Ks/9 by my math).
2. Miller is coming off 6 days rest (last start was 7/3) and should be well rested to pitch 7+ innings.
3. Astros see 3.8 pitches per AB on avg which is in the bottom 3rd in the league. Should help Miller go longer in the game.
4. Laz Diaz is the ump - his K/game rate is higher than the league average and his stats indicate he's a pitcher friendly ump.
