    Not exactly the "flu". Kershaw was extremely ill, throwing up all day including minutes before the game and diarreah. Mattingly and Honeycutt wanted to sit him, but Kershaw insisted on being out there. Tough kid. Pitched his but off for for the 3 innings he was in there
