Not sure if I'd fully trust Gallardo in such a huge spot.

Rather trust Gallardo at home than Kennedy on the road. I'm sure you agree.

OK here you go: 1995 Mariners (over the Yankees), 1999 Red Sox (over the Indians), 2001 Yankees (over the Athletics), and the 2003 Red Sox (over the Athletics).

Under what is the total ? if it is 9 or higher I say the under might not be a bad play but both of these teams have line-ups full of clutch hitters.

I think there will be at least 3 home runs hit. is there a wager on this?

oh yeah i forgot this thread is talking about 2 different games...

wow that 6.5 on the Phillies/ Cards game is spot on. You would think Halladay will pitch a gem in this game but 6.5 ain't a lot of runs

if anybody can handle the pressure it's Roy Halladay. I am assuming Cliff Lee will be available in relief as well.

There is a TON of pressure on the Phillies in this game. If they lose this game to the Cardinals who barely made the playoffs ..... somebody is getting fired. Probably Charlie Manuel even though he is a great coach. The Philly radio talk shows will be going crazy

Cardinals come in this game with nothing to lose. Chris Carpenter is as good of big game pitcher as there is. Gonna be a great game.

I meant I might play the under in the Brewers/ D-Backs game only if the total was 9 again. But I can see atleast 3 home runs being hit in this game . They could be solo shots but both teams have a ton of guys with power.

now that i know the line is 7.5 I would either play the over or not touch the total. I think Kennedy is capable of bouncing back from a strong start after his mediocre outing last time.

It will be hard for Gallarado to pitch as well as he did in the 1st game. 8 innings pitched 1 run and 9 K's ... that is outstanding but i doubt he can do it twice in a row.

might have to roll with D-Backs ML .... even though Brewers are great at home. D-Backs got the momentum and Kennedy is filthy.

Contrary to the odds I feel both home favorites have a good chance of losing.

I think if you played the three dogs the next two days, you'd go 2-1 lyon.

you know at least 1 of the favorites will moose. if you had these 3 remaining dogs in the series you have a good ticket. all 3 home teams are going to have a tremendous amount of pressure.

I think the biggest pressure is on the Crew, Phillys and Yanks (Nova is the exception) have been through this quite a few times.

Good buddy. I am interested to see how tight the ass of the Phillies get tommorow nite. Sure they have Doc on the mound but they have all the pressure and this is the first must win game for that team all year. The Cards have been playing with there backs agaisnt the wall for the last month and just won an elimination game last nite. Cards might lose but they defintely won't be daunted by the circumstances. I think they are playing with house money and know it... For example, that play Pujols made last nite. You don't make those kinda plays if you have a tight ass because nobody would have said shit to him had he just stayed on the bag and got the sure out at first. He could have made a bad throw to 3rd or the 3rd baseman could have dropped the damn ball in a hurry to make a tag, but the point is they are playing aggressive and to WIN!
