#1577I think Bogo is going to be a big fade for me this season. Guy shot his wad in 2011 + changed his allegiance to Russia = bad mojo.
Kubot not gonna do enough to get this over in. Already broken again. Needs Baghdatis to gift something.Comment -

#1581Bovada & 5Dimes. 5Dimes mostly for the parlays as they offer the better prices on favorites. Bovada for the dogs because they usually offer the better prices.Comment -

#1590Love them both equally today as it looks like that parlay is in good shape. Zopp rolled. Bemelmans up big in the 1st set. Not sure about Bemelmans future. Guy has shown big in a tournament before and then disappeared. This is the 1st time I think he's had two good tournaments in a row. Maybe he'll put it together. He's a big servin' fool.Comment -

#1594Bellucci is a flake, but normally does well early in transitioning to clay from the Australian Open. Delbonis hasn't beaten anyone of significance on the surface yet. Bellucci might struggle early to find his feet, but he should be okay. Junquiera used to own Berlocq, but that was before Berlocq got pretty solid on this surface in the last year plus. Berlocq whooped him last year and I think you'd be okay with him today too, but it might be a battle for a bit.
Interested to see how Gonzo responds after playing a match. Souza can be tricky, but not sure about who I like there.Comment -

#1596ATP Montpellier: Mathieu +170
Captain Vagina Pants back in action against Nieminen. Nieminen is very good on these indoor surfaces, but it's interesting to note that the majority of the wins and deep runs he gets at these indoor tourneys come late in the season. I think both played average matches to open here, doing enough to win. Nieminen was forced to work pretty hard against Teixera. May have just been rust, but I'm willing to ride with CVP and his woman parts again here at the price.
ATP Vina Del Mar: Zeballos +205
A stab here that Chela comes into this in bitch mode. He's faltered here plenty before last season, losing in the 1st round quite a bit. Zeballos usually plays tough on this surface and springs an upset here and there. If he can serve well, I think he can stay in this match and test Chela's stamina first-up in Chile.
Pretty much looking to split these for a profit and I will be a happy goofus.Comment -

#1600Nice, tidy win by Dr.Ivo to complete that parlay. Captain Vagina Pants [Mathieu] looks like he's giving up in the 2nd after playing to a losing 1st set tie break. So we'll need Zeballos later to split those dogs.
Looks like I should have followed my brain to trying Souza today as Gonzalez is down early ...Comment -

I see Nieminen giving real trouble to Monfils. He looks good, confident and precise. Mathieu had a really good serve in 1st set, but then he faded.Comment -

#1604Challenger Parlay: Udomchoke + Gabashvili [+125]
Udomchoke draws Wang in Burnie. Wang has rolled through his past two against Aussie competition in Mitchell and Look. Not overly impressed by those as it just seems his opponents were mismatched. Udomchoke provides a more stern test as he passed through against Lu yesterday. He seems to be in relatively good form to start the year as he played Simon very tough @ Melbourne as well. I'll pay to see if Wang is really as good as he's shown, but the feeling is he has not. The Garbage Man, Gabashvili, seems steady in Kazan so far. He draws Marti who again is not well suited to this surface. Marti survived some whack ass tennis w/Jaziri last round. If Garbage-vili plays anywhere close to the level he has so far this tourney, he should advance.
Groth +175
Sticking with my original prediction prior to the tournament that an Australian normally makes the final of this Challenger in Burnie and Groth is the last Aussie standing. I think his serve will put pressure on Sugita to hold his own serve better. Sugita has dropped a set in each of his last two matches here. If Groth brings that A+ serve, I think he's got every shot to win this.Comment -

#1605I was considering the Udomchoke + Gabashvili play earlier but I promised myself I would stay out of Kazan this week so I decided against it. Plus I would hate to get burned by Udomchoke - I hate him and I don't even know why. I think you found something there with Groth, and if I'm not mistaken you have been reading Sugita well lately so this could be a good thing. Best of luck tonight.Comment -

Kazan Challenger: Zopp -150
Yeah, a 50 cent difference from Bovada to 5Dimes on this one right now so I am going to jump on it. Was looking to fade Bemelmans after he really struggled yesterday against Maceiras. Bemelmans may be getting a bit gassed after making a run through qualis and to a final last week and then coming here to Kazan. This is a good spot for Zopp who has some talent on this sort of surface.Comment -

#1607Parlay: Berlocq + Gasquet [-115]
Berlocq gets Delbonis. Berlocq should be good enough here. Delbonis beat a lackluster Bellucci. Berlocq has the clear experience advantage here and his form this week has been solid. Gasquet draws Kohlschreiber. Kohlschreiber is of course serviceable on hard surfaces, but the indoor game is not his best. More often than not once he steps up the level of competition, he falters. Gasquet had few issues against Davydenko with his serve working well. If that is the case again against Kohlschreiber, he should advance as the German doesn't offer nearly as tough a return game as Davydenko.
ATP Zagreb: Berrer +230
I may be an all-day sucker here, but the two time finalist here is rated this long a shot against Melzer? I'll bite. Melzer has rolled this week, but Berrer obviously knows how to play these courts and has shown good ability on this indoor surface. Maybe Melzer is destined to make it to the final and/or win this, but Berrer surely has a much better shot to win that the price indicates.
ATP Zagreb: Youzhny -115
The Russian draws the big server Karlovic. Youzhny already has had an opportunity to see Karlovic in 2012, winning against him in three in Doha. Youzhny dominated two sets with Karlovic winning one in a tie break. Even though the court speed here is going to be quicker than Doha, I'd expect Youzhny's return game to be the difference maker. Youzhny's serve was solid when they last met and it's been good this week as well. If he serves well and gets into Karlovic's serve, Youzhny should work another win here.
ATP Monpellier: Nieminen-Monfils Over 21.5 [-135]
These two met twice on indoor courts last season. Monfils won both, but was forced to work hard for both Ws. One went three, the other featured two tie breaks. Nieminen's serve is pretty damn good on this surface and Monfils showed good pop on his serve vs. Russell. Expecting another tight match where this number should have a great shot to get over.Comment -

#1610Damn, Zopp is +188 now on Bet365.
Sharlaataans, Zopp has looked very impressive, whilst I watched Bemelmans match yesterday, he was utter dog sh1t against a clay courter, and really should have lost, but Maceiras choked away the break in the 3rd serving for the match.
Anyway, I know it's a challenger event, but Zopp is my bet of the day.Comment
