Yeah. It just sucks that the odds on her are going to be so low. And that the Demented match didn't pan out.

If it wasn't for live betting this day would've been a loss.

Thanks TB. I'm not sure what happened there - I really thought it would be a closer match. Schiavone is going to be in big trouble on Saturday. H2H 4-0, last match in straight sets.

Schiavone +350? really?

Obviously, Stosur is ranked higher and beat tougher opposition... But isn't it somewhat likely that Francesca somehow gets the upper hand in the first set (making hedges of all sorts possible)?

As I was about to collect my hefty winnings from betting Stosur in today's match (thanks Shari!), I was thinking it would be nice to get her at -130 or -120 to win the finals. But she is -400 which to me is unbettable. So... maybe take a longshot?

Opinions?

Schiavone's +270 here. But as much as I love dogs, I can't touch her. Besides their H2H record, Stosur's playing like a machine while Schiavone had a much easier path to get here including injured opponents. I'll see what the handicap is when it comes out and that plus 2 sets and maybe the under will probably be my plays.

Hey Shari nice call on stosur. Been flat out and couldn't get on your thread until now, had stosur ML and then after 1st set had a live betting big play straight sets $1.55 are centrebet mad

I loaded up. Let's hope she goes all the way now. Be on tomorrow to see your picks

Did you talk to Steve at Centrebet?

I dropped a little on her to win 2-0 at the beginning of the 2nd to hedge my over play. Then I saw the odds rise to $1.70. Thought maybe it was a bit of a mistake so I jumped on the phone again and upped my bet 3 times in the same call with Steve.

Think they're a bit fvkked there and he must think I'm an absolute nutter. Glad to see you cashed on her too!!

hey there. i stumbled across your thread yesterday, and have been meaning to congratulate you on your picks.

the folk at centrebet are pretty decent. they don't always have the best odds or options, but they're fair (eg. they refunded wagers in the frank vs lenny match).

i agree, the australian commentary was over-the-top... but it has been a long time since there was a female grand slam winner for oz: evonne goolagong in the 70s and the exquisitely named margaret court in the 50s.

let's hope sam can finish the job.

Yeah, Dementieva retiring definitely screwed up my game plan a bit. But it all worked out in the end thanks to your favourite: live betting!! Ended up with quite a good profit on the day so can't complain, thank goodness.

I like Berdych Sod over too, but I only think the over will hit if it goes 5 sets. If it goes 4 sets I don't think it will hit, it'll be something like 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. I think there is more value in playing that it goes 5 sets?

Also Over 3.5 sets at -200 is solid to throw in a parlay
