I placed it over an hour ago. before the match start.. but then it got delayed/cancelled.. then 30 minutes later.. i saw the new match posted with Stevenson

hmmm, makes me think that they changed it on me and i just didn't pay attention. guess its up to the book but some just give you the going rate even with a new opponent.....i think! not sure about books tennis rules

nice one blackbe... just for reference there is no way any book will keep your original bet alive when one of the opponents has changed. it´s fundamental...

In regards to your Tennis wager, please be aware that the wager you made on Sofia Arvidsson was made around 2:38 PM EST. The match between Arvidsson and Riske was supposed to begin at 12:00 PM EST, but the game was cancelled since yesterday. Because of the time you made the wager, there was no possible way you could have made a wager on Arvidsson VS Riske because it should have been off the board by 12:00 PM EST. damnit. i have chela as the last leg in a parlay. making me sweat. i think hes going to get it done.

don't ask me why i chose him to anchor it rather than robredo (the only two options for a chalk parlay for the late games). i just didn't want to go against the home man...

Gee - I was in the same boat as you, with Chela to finish off my parlays. Just checked the scores now - phew! Shouldn't have got that close by the look of the stats, but they can sometimes be misleading.

Anyone know if there's a good/decent chance Benoit Paire will upset Tsonga tomorrow? Tsonga is the last part of my 8 team parlay and I was wondering if I should hedge or not. Would anyone hedge?

Pew - Paire played well in Rotterdam, though the player he lost to (Ljubicic), Tsonga beat.

Depends on how much of your bankroll the parlay signifies, and how much of a gambler you are. If it's a large part of your bankroll then hedge, because the pain of losing it all will outdo the joy of winning. I've kicked myself too many times for not hedging - so if it's a large amount just do it (and it's a good hedge as Paire is a big underdog to Tsonga).

If the parlay is not a big amount relative to your bankroll, what I like to do personally is hedge to the point I get my money back but still win a nice amount if the person I think will win (in this case Tsonga) does indeed win.

Tsonga should still take this down after all, he's also in good form and should have given Soderling more or a scare than what he did in the final at Rotterdam.
