Wish I had taken the -150 outrights for the French Open for Nadal.Problem is that on Betfair if the player backs out then the outright is a loss.I know alot of people that were burned last year when Nadal didn't play in Wimbledon. That's the risk of taking a future like that. Nadal should be healthy going into the French Open but anything can happen today. I have put a little bit on -178 this morning and I am going to wait until after today's final to put some more on him.

#282Nadal wins in straight sets.Glad he won that since the outright price I had on him for this tournament was not that great. Just got home now so I just saw the last two points of the match. Did anyone watch it?How did they look? I got some -178 outrights earlier in the morning for the French Open but now the line has been moved to -200 after this win. Going to hope it comes down a bit in the next week or so. If it doesn't at least I have a bit already
Congrats to those that cashed on Nadal todayComment -

#283Federer had chances to push it to a 3rd set. He served to start the tie break. Held and then broke Rafa on his 1st serve to go up 2-0. Went to 2-1 and back to Federer to serve. He blew it immediately and it went back to Rafa at 3-2 in favor of Fed. Fed again got a break of Rafa to be up 4-2, Wound up going back to Fed at 4-3. Then he proceeded to lose three straight points. Surely had his chances. I think he proved he can be competitive with Rafa on the surface, even though Roland Garros is obviously not the same as the Madrid clay. I think the Rafa outrights for the French are going to hover around that -200 or so at least until the draw comes out on Friday.Comment -

#286I won't do anything until the draws come out personally. I've got some players I think would be worth it if they are placed in good quarters. Right now just based on price, Federer at +450 is a pretty good one I think. Depends of course who winds up in his quarter, but I think people often overlook him because all people remember is Nadal smacking him in the finals several times. Federer is still one of the top 4 guys on the surface. All the other guys I think are appropriately priced as longshots to win.
5Dimes has The Field at +191 against Rafa.Comment -

#287Thanks Totolover. Will have some outrights out when the draw becomes available.Should be a great tournament as always.
Eagles definately agree that Federer in any tournament as a big money outright is a great play. His record in slams speaks for itself. Players can take 1 or 2 sets off Federer in these smaller tournaments and beat him but in the slams they have to play at that level to take 3 sets off him which is pretty much impossible for most of the players.
Best to wait for the draws of course. Look forward to talking tennis with you guys again in a weekComment -
