Stosur has had some problems. Didn't see that coming. Recovered in the third set and is up a break so that is probably done.
Monfils playing today.Could be a dark horse here. Doubt he has the fitness to go 2 weeks though
I'd be interested to know who got heavier action - Blake or Clement. Clement was a "sheik" upset pick by many, but I think the supposed "sharp" minds backed Blake.
LoL that's probably an understatement since the winner plays Del Potro. Querrey's injury must have bothered him, he shouldn't lose to Schuettler on hard courts.
Blake screws me over again. If I back him then he loses and if I fade him he wins. If I ever meet him I am going to tell him that he owes me about 10 grand. If he gives it to me then everything will be cool between us
James if you like to gamble and read this thread, please send me some cash
Federer chokes away the first set. Ruh roh Raggy, gonna be a nail biter for him perhaps. Gotta play with his head especially after Andreev played him tought at the US Open a couple years ago. Thought he was in control here, flipped away and find him losing the set! Let's see if it wakes Fed up or if he's gonna be a shaky shell of himself!
Nice of Fed to get the break right off the bat in the second set.Don't want andreev getting to much confidence. Not watching the match but I doubt andreev can keep this up
Robredo is getting pounded. Federer steamrolled the 2nd, but floundering in the 3rd a little. This may be the typical fight thru the scare and then roll scenario IF he gets thru this.
Federer luckily got the break back in the third. This is definately not looking good for him if he is having trouble against Andreev.Hopefully he sorts it all out
Soderling gets broken in the third. Still up 2 sets though
I won't read too much into Federer tonight as long as he survives. Andreev is tougher than anyone he'll face until the 4th round. Truth be told because of how things worked out, he has the toughest match I think in the 1st round of any high seed. Could be a benefit in the end.
I am looking very closely at the NICOLAS ALMAGRO v. XAVIER MALISSE match ... was just curious if you had a pick/play or if you could offer any advice/suggestions on this match. thank you!!!
If Soderling crashes out today - he could be this year's Gilles Simon in that he made the meteoric rise into the Top 10 and then flattened out. You should fade him whenever he is a substantial favorite if he bottoms out in the 5th set today.
By the by, Gulbis is still a miserable piece of shit when money is on the line.
Soderling is playing like absolute shit. Granollers is cramping up and Soderling still can't do anything to beat him. 0-30 on his own serve right now. I am guessing this match is over and my parlay is shot. Its a shame because tsonga is up 2 sets to love. 3bps now for granollers. Thanks for the effort Soderling
He had elbow problems coming in - but all in all, a pretty pathetic display. I still say watch him from this point on. He may be the prototypical flash-in-the-pan.
Just checking Betfair and some money was backed on Soderling all the way down to 1.01. Feel bad for those backers because with the breaks that Soderling had this match should have been done in three or four sets
