Time flies but it really is irrelevant. You dont go from a scrub to a star in a month and peers has been a scrub her whole career. She moves like she is stuck in quick sand.
Also a lot of clay courts at the ITF level especially in Aussie doesnt play much different to hard court with the layer of clay being so thin.Comment -
Mikael Ymer and Moutet both won again as dogs both from a set down. Didn't get a chance to bet on either down a set but definitely worth betting on these two while there's some value.

Thank you Torebko. Easy 2nd set and looked like it was going to be a easy 3rd set with the early break but he ended up making it tough. Won on the 4th match point but cost me 0.5 unit small hedge.

Been a big start to April for me. Usually ends up fluctuating a lot but hopefully can keep it going upwards the whole month which was what I couldn't do last month.
EDIT: Making a withdraw after not making one last month. Took out just under $1200 and still got $2000 in my account. Will be considering upping my units but last time I tried that, I just couldn't wrap my head around betting such high amount. Thanks. I use tennislive.net for all my research and tennisprediction.com to check original odds if I missed it as well how often a player wins as favourite like the number I posted about Torebko above.
In terms of Ymer, tough match to predict as Milojevic is a decent young upcoming player as well. Also Milojevic retired in last tournament and the tournament before that so I have a feeling if things are going tough, he may retire again. I would say Milojevic is the marginally better player at this stage but Ymer has been taking down players supposedly better than him his whole career.Comment -
Bit disappointed in myself for being 'happy' and 'satisfied' so to speak that I passed on some winners. I've done the same thing before as well which makes it worse as I didnt learn.
Wouldve got Tearney @5, Berrer @4, and was just going to pull the trigger on Moutet @5 down break in deciding set. $1100 missed right there where all three would have been taken if I wasnt in that satisfied mode.
Just got Ymer down a set @5 but not a fav down a set play and def not confident about it like the three above.Comment -

Barton has been playing well this year and the matches he has lost has been close. Barton is a pretty big server and much prefers hard court than clay court but as mentioned in a post earlier, the clay courts in Aussie are thin and don't play much difference to hard courts a lot of the time. Would give it a miss and even if Barton goes down a set, I will give it a miss. Semi-final plus hard match to call.Comment -

Probably should have backed Naso to come back but I hate fading players on my rookie watch list.
Naso was 0/5 on break points while Moutet was 3/4 in the 1st set and held to 40 in all his games. Naso up 3-0 in 2nd set now and broke Moutet to love twice.

Fking Tearney again. Yesterday down 6-3 1-0 down break, getting broken or holding to 40 and barely touching his opponents serve suddenly turns things around and wins 6-3 1-6 1-6. Doing the exact same thing again today and I chose not to take him as didn't think he could do it again. Currently 6-3 1-6 going to a 3rd set with exact same scenario.Comment -
Wow Tearney wins to the exact same scoreline and I am 90% sure that the pattern of where the breaks were was exactly the same in the last 2 sets as well. I can't recall when the breaks were in the 1st set of the 1st match though but that is some freaky stuff.Comment -

moutet lost last two sets 6-4 6-4. solid effort for 1st itf final and as they say, no one ever wins their first final. expecting big things from this kid in the future.

Two very constrasting clay tournaments going on with Houston being medium fast for clay and casablanca being on the slower side.
Didn't see much interesting matches in qualifiers and also not much in the main draw either. Only one that interests me as mentioned earlier.
