Just had a "DUH!" moment. Temporarily forgot what Chardy has done to you in the past.

I kind of lean toward Chilly myself, but Chardy has been bringing his best effort to these slams over the last couple of years.

It won't be a rollover or anything I don't think, but most of Chardy's grass court wins have come over players he should beat mostly. Cilic is better on the surface, he's had some rough draws at Wimbledon before. I also think he's got a chip on his shoulder for getting the boot last year at this time for his doping suspension. I would not be totally shocked though if Froggy won.

Well I mean what was the investment? I don't know that it will make sense with the current line.

Istomin was ill. If it was an earlier round he probably would have retired.

Istomin was sick, but Stan was serving great. A healthy Istomin probably takes a set but that would be it.

Hoping the consensus Bouchard Brigade is wrong tomorrow. Daddy needs that future to pay for some upcoming stuff badly. Would be a real nice mid-Summer treat, even better than Bartoli last year.

I thought that if someone did the work of beating Serena, her draw was very workable and she has a good grass court game that seems to have developed more in the past two years. I thought it'd come down to beating Sharapova to give the future legs, which it has ... but I also honestly thought she could beat Serena with how up and down she is at this stage. Bouchard is tough, but he's still relatively inexperienced on grass, so I think Kerber has a shot, much better than last month at the French on Kerber's worst surface.

She seemed overlooked to me. Obviously she deserved a big price with the prospect of Sharapova and Serena, but I thought her odds were longer than they should have been. Don't recall the exact prices on some others, but I thought some players who had a worse shot than her were sporting better prices.

For me, I'm going to hedge 0.5 unit on Bouchard to Win Wimbledon @ +450 against my Kerber future. Letting the rest ride. There's really nothing effective to hedge that Dimitrov quarter bet with Murray's ML where it is and I'm just stubborn on Roger I suppose, but the surface favors him over Stan and then his potential semifinal will be against an inexperienced player - I truly think as I did when the tournament started that he's got this one last one in him. He got some help on his side of the draw, so we'll see if he puts forth the effort to get to that Final.

She was a bad bet today. Shoulder injury last match and she looked shaky. Well the Bouchard hedge was good. Kerber obviously drained from yesterday & Bouchard playing decently.
