Doubt..bitpay is major player in crypto processing’s...I think they may be looking at usage if it has gone down enough to bring cash back options back...makes no sense but card for me is still awesome...I suggest getting a bluebird card to anyone w. Bitpay...easy way to access cash with no fees but limited

Alerted by large multiple transactions with Bitpay and other cards + crypto ATMs.
FYI the underwriting Bank is based in NY.
I knew from the beginning their generous 50k limits would cause problems, unless if it was a honeytrap. Between illegal activity and numbnut deposit and withdraw multiple times daily bettors...
FYI 2 the bank in question is releasing other debit cards that are not connected to crypto.

yes but it's just another vessel that you can use that is free cash to cash in funds...Between this, MO's, transfers and basic bitpay **** card usage for whatever you desire anyone who is complaining or cant access funds doing something wrong

And just to piggyback-- check out Serve too: https://www.finder.com/american-express-serve-cards one is allowed to have multiple authorized users each with their card, even kids without a social.
AND....Can have at least two total of their other versions, too i think there are 4. You can check them out at CVS-- the only store that sells them for free.
Monthly fee, but waived in 3 states. OR with ***************. Save atm fee on their network, which includes Citibank.
The one called Free Reloads does so for free at CVS, instant credit. $300+ have to scan your id or just split up.
The others, including the one called 1% Cashback, charge $4 for other store reloads, but ach always free and instant.

Just wanted to report that I did the M..o. at Walmart this morning.
It was the first time I have tried one before.
Went through no problem. Just had to type pin.
It sucks they cut the ATM, but it is still a great to spend with and is this other option eliminates the higher ATM fees.

Are cash withdrawals back at ATMs now? I opened the bitpay app and had a notification saying so as far as I understand. I don't know how long that notification has been there because I haven't opened the app in quite some time as I have been waiting for an email from them. Has anyone tried at an ATM and can confirm whether it is working or not?

I would've copy and pasted or just typed what it said but as soon as I clicked on my bitpay card to open the balance the message went away and it doesn't show when I open the app anymore. I was opening it to see if I had enough funds to pay a toll fee because I had been using coinbase to bank since all of this happened with no ATM withdrawals. I would've already tried the ATM myself but I only have 8 bucks on the card so I can't. It's the bitpay app on the iPhone for anyone that might want to see if they get the same message\pop up

it was probably the message they sent long ago when the card was no cash back for 2 days or so.....If they choose to bring back you will get an emaill if not just do what most guys here do...workslike clock work easy peasy love bitpay!

Hey so I have tried to get a MO once at walmart, via debit with pin, and it got declined several times, all for different amounts.

Also I have a Bluebird card, i was able to successfully add funds from my BP card to my Bluebird card ONE TIME. Which it was for a small amount, under $100. The next day I went to add some more and it didnt work. Called Bluebird and they said that my BP card wasnt allowed to be used anymore because it looked like sketchy use. Which I have had my Bluebird account for years, same with my BP.

I see everyone else on here able to get money orders and what not, just blows my mind that I am unable to get them, even with pin. I highly doubt that BP will ever bring back withdrawls or cash back. Another crypto card by the name of Shift used the same back as BP, however they totally discontinued their card service last month.

The only thing I am able to use my BP card for is debit payments at stores, just no money orders which sucks. Figured I would share my experience as this seems to be the only place with any knowledge of what is going on with bitpay..

Just a few follow up questions about your MO attempt at WM. What amount were you requesting??? And at any time did you have to give your ID to the cashier?

Furthermore, sometimes it's NOT THE BEST SOLUTION to grab a MO and put it in your checking acct. If you ever get audited... extra income placed in your bank acct... not really a good thing.

I think the Bitpay card is great for swiping anywhere. Still has huge advantages in my opinion.

My bitpay to bluebird works fine...I did have an incident the first week and it declined so I called Cs bluebird and the security guy told me to delete the bitpay from my bluebird and then re link it...it took it without doing the test deposit and all has been good since...I also have been getting MO no issues at walley world and other grocer....I normally either go back 24 hrs cash or right them to me from wifey or mom w for rent or gift written on them and deposit bank

Not been a good year medical/healthwise for me, so using the card to pay for lots of medical shit.

Here’s another way to get cash. If you guys have a Venmó card, simply link your bitpay card on Venmo and send it to someone you trust (any amount). Then have them send it back so it’s automatically to your Venmó balance. Then use your venmó card at any atm to withdrawal cash. Venmó card atm withdrawal is free at any moneypass atm (7-11, cvs etc)

It's tough Mike... perhaps you forgot the network fee? Always have to triple check before sending. C.S. has always been a pain in the ass. Hope it works out for you.

Also, just a heads up for everyone, I got banned from c-base over 3 years ago and basically the bitpay card was the only way left for me to withdraw bitcoin to cash. I discovered ABRA a couple of weeks ago and they are awesome, you can WT up to 40k per day and the funds are actually deposited into your account the same day, doesn’t even take 24 hours. The only reason why I still have money on my bitpay card was because I went on a heater for a couple of months and had four cards filled up to the max.

easier way would of been to transfer via ach from bitpay to bank or even use bitpay routing to send payment for $5. I use card for all my bill's and payments.

My card expires end of month CS said they will send out new card...Hopefully no hiccups

How do you do this? Like step by step? I have bank accounts with chase, TD and suntrust and none of them were able to do this. They said that the ACH transfer has to be initiated by the bitpay card bank (commenity bank). I’ve literally conferenced called all of these banks with a bitpay card rep and none of them were able to figure out how to do this.

you set it up through your bank as transfer or bill pay. its initiated on your banks or bill pay end not Bitpay....Use the bitpay routing and account number just like sending any payment from your bank checking account...Example I sent 356$ to my car payment...On my car finance site I entered the Bitpay account and routing number just like I would with my reg check account info..

The ACH transfer worked (I think). I don’t know if bitpay will ever have the cash withdrawal option again, but at least we know some good alternatives to get around the hassle.

So customer service said they automatically send out new cards if your original expires? Mine expired this month. I used all the funds last month. Didn't know if they sent out new cards automatically or not?? Didn't want to spend another $10.00
