didnt sbr say it wouldnt effect anything when all this went down a few weeks back? lol they arent going to tell anything if they did know
but to be fair, U.S. players shouldnt need to be told since writing was on the wall something was going to happenLast edited by SBRAdmin3; 07-26-14, 12:22 PM.Comment -

not sure what you expect them to know... they, like the rest of the world, they had no clue what was going to happen to legends, nor do they know what bodog is going to do on a daily basis...that company is whack
you guys that are under the impression that these forum owners know what the fukk is going on, are being completely ignorant, unfortunately... sbr doesnt have shit to do with where legends accts go, nor did they have any say so with a book cutting ties with moneybookers
shaunovery, they cut legends money the day the shit hit the fan...Last edited by SBRAdmin3; 07-26-14, 12:22 PM.Comment -

'nother interesting development: not long before SBR dropped the "points to cash" option at Legends...it dropped the "points to Moneybookers cash" option
close confluence of lots of possibly-unrelated occurrences...in the face of a deafening silence by our "watchdog"
if SBR brass really "know nothing" (brings to mind Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's Heroes) of any substance... then they should at least come on and tell us that...rather than let us twist in the wind while getting increasingly receptive to conspiratorial theories--as we are now

#295No way SBR takes the rap for this fiasco. This also wasn't some elaborate plan by Legends to close up shop with everybodys funds.Even after taking part of my money out last week and leaving part in I truly believed these guys wouldn't shut down and I still believe that our funds will go to a decent book. These guys were always good for the money and even with the heat on them now they will go out as standup.Comment -

#300Somewhere inbetween what the conspiracy theorists believe and what SBR says, is the truth. Sweep predicted the BI fiasco well-before it went down. Another poster told posters to get their money out of Legends ASAP. Maybe if SBR were a bit more investigative, they might act instead of constantly reacting. If only SBR were offshore, where all the action is.Comment -

#302We are in the process of negotiating to have an A rated sports book assume the balances...We would like to assure you that all funds are perfectly safe and secure. Any unsettled bets will be honored and settled by the provider assuming your account.
Hopefully the wording stems from there being a contingency plan in place all along, with the 24-48 hours being needed to transfer/merge accounts, and isn't just speculation that one of the major books might want to take the accounts on.Comment -

#305Hindsight Bias is in play. The BI poster who predicted it had tell tale signs that were apperant. The legends situation was less so because who could believe that an A+ book would risk assets in the geographic USA.
For every poster that predicted it right were at least the same amount of posters who cried wolf incorrectly...Comment -

#308Ray, if SBR started a thread with the exact information that was shared, it would have been worth more. SBR knows more than they let on and I find it difficult to believe that someone could truly believe that they know as much as the next poster. There is a variable in the equation that is quite revealing. BI, LEGENDS, and all of the other books do not pay me or you advertising dollars. If you don't believe that getting paid by a sponser creates a bias, then I can't say much more. Maybe you should check out Lou's lightspeed response in the Bet Revolution case and then ask yourself why this level of response is not the norm? Then, ask yourself, if Bet Revolution was a sponser, would Lou have responded in the same manner? And before someone says it, SBR is not picky on who pays the bills. Justin7 famously buried a paid advertiser for being a scammer.Comment -

#312higherelement... there is no doubt sbr is biased towards advertisers... but you people keep comparing BI to Legends and its fall out of the chair hilarious when you do... there is NOTHING about the 2 that is even comparable... please tell me you realize this... sbr wouldnt and shouldnt have come out saying "get your money out of legends" .. sure, the writing was there, but there was also nothing definite and legends would still be in business and processing payment if their license wasnt revoked... people, you arent losing your money! what you do with it after the transfer, is up to you.Comment -

#313Ray,
If you read my comments, you will see that the context of stating BI and Legends was not to compare each other or insinuate that they are the same situation. Rather, I mentioned both to demonstrate SBR's informational role, or lack thereof.
Please keep the discussion within the context of what I said. You are quick to give SBR a free pass. I am arguing that SBR knows more than the average poster, which you stated.Comment -
