BetIslands not working............Damn!!

I don't care what other people say about you posting on other forums, that's not what this thread was about. The website is down, we want to find out why. We could care less about where you post, what videos you post, who you're in an argument with, any complaints about your posts, or anything else other than why the site's down and when it will be up. BI is a B-rated book, yet when their site is down no one from there is accessible. And no one from this place, where the people claim that they want to protect the player, has said boo since Lou posted a phone number 2 hours ago. That's what the thread is about.

Tunes, I agree with you in a sense, but SBR is not 911, if you have an emergency. Jon can't be on the forum or work 24/7. It seems like he comes in here quickly most of the time, but we can't expect him to swoop in here all the time. Yes, it is a busy sports day, but we've been spoiled with his super hero persona, which I feel is legit. He will make it right for those and offer an explanation, when he gets a chance.

I posted on this particular thread becuase i do play betislands. I also happned to refer a heavy hitter who plays with a local bookie and he was receptive to 30 percent cash bonus. I am so thankful he did not deposit. This dude is aggresive

You can't seem to understand that people choose to target this book more vs others in attempt to gain a fp for whatever is a problem. You seem to be in denial about this or just won't admit it.

Hank, we are very close in age. I'm 36. We've prob been betting online the same amount of time. I'm not obsessed with BI. I only have $1 in my account. I try to stick up for them because they are one of the best, if not, the best us book out there. If you do have a problem or a claim that could go either way, Jon, by far, is the best person out there to talk to and give you a fair shake. I stick up for them because I know how far Jon goes above and beyond for his players. This guy, courtesy wipe, has given indications in posts, BI has gone above and beyond, in the past, for him. He makes it seem like a comet is approaching earth and he is done. EVERYONE has and should be pissed that the ag and mx were down at whatever point. All I am trying to do is tell you, Joe Blow, Johnny Cockblock or whoever to hang in there. The service they provide is unmatched.

Just placed wagers on the games for 10:30 lady told me the site should be up in an hour or so there testing the servers now

Ok rob i wil drop this. I agree the provide top nothch service MOST of the time and right now it doesn't not effect you or I personally but it sure as hell does ALL of the customers that wanted to bet online or via phone and could not. They dropped the ball. IMO website down forgiveable unable to call the bet in acceaptable.

Hank, from what you stated, you've been in the game for a long time. We know it isn't something to write off. It sucks, it isn't cool, etc. I, including others, it is hard to make a call. Family creeping everywhere, wondering why you went outside to make a call, etc. I stand by my word saying this book, out of all of them in my history of betting online, will make it right and has the OVERALL best service around. Crap happens like this, as you know.

the guy i spoke to told me the internet is down. i asked to be transferred to customer service (phone just went to wagering). He said they leave at 9 eastern and are home for the night.

i can only go by what they tell me. if they have someone unqualified to answer simple questions on the phone, i dont know what to say.

Rob this blog has proven to be a great way to communicate. I am now in 100% agree with what you just said and I do apologize for mocking/attacking you in previous post in this thrad and I wish the BOL my friend. keep on supporting the business you believe in. I do feel at this point I was stirriing the pot and being negative and that is garbage!

Give these guys in CS a break they have to deal with dumb penetrates for hours on end. Imagine spending a whole day dealing with the real life dumb penetrates from SBR, it must be a horrifying job.

i have a lot of money with them and i kinda demand decent service (not great, just decent). and on days like this is when its needed. not as much if things are going smoothly. and they are not providing decent customer service today.

Hank, I've come at them in a few of my posts. This forum is one of the most free speech places out there. I'm not trying to mute or discredit most of everyones complaints. They are valid. I'm not the primary mouthpiece on the general experience with BI. Not everyone see's eye to eye. it is human nature. Your input is valued here, being that you've been in the game for a long time.

Then you get all these "kiss ass" posters looking for free plays from Jon by saying " give them a break, they are upgrading to a new system". Come on.........I dont care what they are upgrading too. I want to place wagers with my hard earned money. This website failure cost me money tonight....and to me that is simply unacceptable. And save the call the wager in bullshit for somebody else living in the 90's

its annoying not being able to place a wager but i can get by. Not knowing my pending wagers (and balance) through any method was the part that IS the problem for me.

I would love someone to name a B-rated or higher book that has had more technical issues than betislands over the past 12 months... They are not some brand new book with growing pains. They have been around for quite a while now, and have one of the more consistent patterns of web site issues + customer serivce houdini acts I have ever seen.
