Penalty for the 1st and then the Luxembourg goalie made a really stupid decision to come away from the line when there was no need - gave Belarus an easy second goal. But, a win is a win. Huge handicap here, but the situation dictates that it should be. As noted, this is Ronaldo's swan song for the Brazilian side. It's already been pre-planned that he will come on around the 30th minute and finish the half. As our pal mihaita noted in his thread, there has been talk that the Romanians would let Ronaldo score a goal in his farewell party that would certainly help this cause. Even so, Romania have a an issue all of a sudden as their coach quit after their last match in Euro 2012 qualis. They are expected to field an inexperienced side tonight against a Brazil team that will be desperate to put on a show and win. Over at 3.5 could be a try here too, but no telling if Brazil can do all the work for that as I think they might have to.

Thinking about Uruguay probably on the PK. I don't think they lose to a Netherlands team just playing out their friendly string. Uruguay getting prepped for Cup play, but have a poor record vs. European teams lately. Uruguay is a guilty pleasure though. Love Forlan and Suarez and they made me cash in the World Cup.

I will not bet on Brazil's B squad again. They've got some good talent and flare, but they seem to always be trying to do too much around the box instead of taking the easy scoring opportunity that is there. That's where I wish they were a bit more like Spain some times in going for the kill, not the thrill.

Totally based on stats. Both teams score in all three previous matches in this competition. France especially showed power with nine goals in that span. Italy had four. Both teams conceded in two of their three matches. Gonna try this one over the uncertainty of that Uruguay-Netherlands friendly.

I know neither team is probably as good/bad as their last match with Costa Rica sticking home five and El Salvador conceding five. But still, Costa Rica has shown its scoring capabilities in the lead up to the Gold Cup, while El Salvador has shown shaky defense, giving up ten goals in its last three matches. El Salvador seems like they have a decent enough offense too. Give me over or give me a vacation!
