The new regime under Mourinho has brought forth greater discipline on defense with just one goal conceded in three matches. The attention to defense may be catching the offense early with just three goals scored for Madrid. Espanyol attempts to play a disjointed game that keeps their opponent from flowing freely on offense. That usually means few opportunities for Espanyol to score and I don't fancy they'll do much against a tight Madrid defense today that is now almost expected to get clean sheets, at least by Mourinho. They'll need to be better on defense than they were in their road debut vs. Valencia where they allowed four goals.

I just think there'll be a deviation from Real's customary 2-0 wins. A 2-0 win will be a push for me anyways, which is better than a loss. We'll see how it goes.
