Milan is looking to use today's match as a springboard to more positive results in Serie A after two disappointing draws. Anotnio Cassano is starting and I am expecting him to show some flare as he's be useful as a sub since coming to Milan in a set-up role. Today, I think he looks to score. With the chance to move into the Last 8 in this competition, Milan should be flying from the start against the worst defense statistically in Serie A in Bari. Bari has given up two goals in each of their last two matches and may be much more concerned with relegation than they are with this match. Still, they may take some confidence here that they scored a couple against Milan albeit at home when they lost 3-2 back in November in Serie A play. I think Milan probably gets the three here to get at least a push. If Bari scores then this should be a winner.Comment -

Never really had another legit shot after the last Milan goal + Pato's injury relegated Milan to ten men for the last 15-20 minutes. PUSH better than a loss, but always leaves you empty!

Choosing the total here because the side almost seems too obvious here with the Jordananian injury concerns and the blistering form of the Uzbekis. Uzbekistan was unstoppable in the group stages with two goals in each of their three matches while conceding three goals in their last two matches combined. Jordan will be without an influential striker today which could limit their goal scoring chances, but this is a side that has only been shut down once in their last eleven overall matches. Besiktas gets its chance to show off its new offensive firepower acquired during the transfer window today. New signees - all from Portugal - Simao Sabrosa, Hugo Almeida and Manuel Fernandes are expected to add plenty of punch to the Black Eagles. They already showed strong with Besiktas tallying five goals in a friendly match + Cup play in their two matches in 2011. The defense has been leaky though with four allowed. Besiktas has multiple goals at home in five of nine and have not been shut out in their last eight on their home pitch. They have only two clean sheets at home. Bucaspor gave up 12 goals in their last four away matches in league play and have conceded multiple goals in five of six on the road. expecting Besiktas to flex their new offensive pop and Bucaspor may have a chance to get one themselves with Besiktas' lack of keeping it clean.

Guatemala and Nicaragua battle here in the 5th place match with the winner gaining the last spot in the Gold Cup competition. At the Copa, Guatemala has been beaten by quality sides in Costa Rica & Honduras while Nicaragua lost to Panama and drew to Belize. That same Belize squad that Guatemala doubled up 4-2 in October. These two sides met in a friendly in December. Guatemala comprehensively beat them down, 5-0. Guatemala has dominated this team all-time at 15-1 although the one win came from Nicaragua last time they met at this competition in 2009. Nicaragua has just two wins in its last 16 overall matches and has taken points in just four of those.
