#37Wow, Domenech finally does something I agree with. Back to 4-2-3-1. Toulalan as sole holding midfielder could have really struggled against Uruguay's midfield.Comment -

#38Pretty good day for me today.
That Uruguay - France game had almost no highlights!
Tomorrow should be a more exciting day.
I'm leaning the over in the S. Korea - Greece game @ 2.70, Greece DNB @ 1.83 @ 1.83 and also the over in the England - USA game @ 2.00.
I read today that in England's last 12 matches the over hit 10 times and the same goes for USA, 10 overs in the last 12 matches.Comment -

#40Futures
Winner:
- Brazil - 6.0 / +500
- Argentina - 8.2 / +720
We have picked Brazil or Argentina to win the WC.
Brazil - They are a complete team, well balanced in every area of the pitch, everybody talks about Brazil going forward but this team is one of the best in the competition defensively aswell. They have worked on this side of their game alot, the players have bulked up, the team is much more physical and are now very dangerous at set pieces. Their manager is a world cup winner, has managed them to being the Copa America champions and has been very clever with the tactics the team is using.
They are an intelligent team, able to shift formations and strategies mid-game depending on the situation. The team is just as happy sitting back soaking up pressure then breaking out with lethal counter attacks as they are dominating teams, keeping possession and shifting into a more attacking shape. They have a top class player for each position, the only question is the Bastos but he is still better than what most teams have. The one worry is the reliance on Kaka, if he is injured its up to Baptista to step up, alot have questioned bringing him over other arguably better players, however, he has never let Brazil down and plays great for the team. The team is so good they can afford to leave the likes of Ronaldinho, Adriano etc out of the team. Some may see the team being weaker for leaving them out but it actually helps the team become more cohesive, too many big name stars in a team can cause bring alot of problems aswel as the baggage and circus act that follows. The team has better moral and unity as a result of leaving some of them out.
Brazil we expect to finish first in their group, if they do they are likely to avoid Argentina, Spain, Portugal and Italy. In their side of the draw, Holland, Germany and England are likely giving them an easier route to the final. No game is easy in the World Cup but avoiding the first set of teams gives a slight advantage.
Argentina - Maradona(I'll explain this pick but don't have the time right now)
Qualification:
- Portugal qualify + Usa qualify - 2.7 (riskiest) / +170
- Brazil (Win group) + Argentina (Win group) - 2.1 / +110
Will have more futures and world cup boot top 4's later on.Comment -

#43Argentina v Nigeria - Argentina -1 @ 1.74 15:00 GMT PUSH
Maradona has gone for the more attacking of the formations Argentina will be using, they know Nigeria are there for the taking and should dominate the center of the park. Nigeria have dangerous strikers but very little presence and creativity in midfield, the loss of Mikel has been a huge blow especially to their system. Argentina will dominate midfield, Verons passes could rip Nigeria's defense, Messi and Tevez will be tough to handle. Nigeria will be chasing the game alot in midfield and could tire out towards the end of the game.

#46I'm sooo disappointed at how the head coach for the Greek team set up the team for the game. I can't believe the players he put on defense and in which positions he had them. He left the best defensive player, Kyriakos, out.
If Greece had an advantage over the S. Koreans it was on height and maybe tactics. They let them play their game. Even his substitutions were off. Salpigidis should've been in the game from the beginning or much sooner. Kapetanos is just not enough, plain and simple. I hope those guys wake up.
On another note, I like the over 2.5 goals in the England - USA game @ 2.15 (bet365).
I think England will put up at least 2 and the US could score in my opinion.Comment -

#47They need to replace Higuain with Millito, I have never been Higuains biggest fan and he plays his worst in big games. Millito is a big game player, just look at their seasons, Millito scores in the Serie A league winning game, the Italian cup final and CL final, Higuain chokes in the CL against Lyon if he scored one of his sitters they would have qualified.
Hopefully, Millito is bought on for him, he will suit this game more.Comment -

I totally agree with you guys : Milito >> Higuain.
In 20 games in Champions League, Higuain scored once ... against Zurich (Switzerland) in his lifetime.
He only scores against weak spanish team. That is a fact.Comment -

#56There is an outside chance England finish 2nd in the group now, that was the match of the group. The big worry is Englands defense, King is not looking too good, Carragher has got so slow. Heskey is missing sitters like usual... Rooney, Gerrard and Lampard played well. The US team kept showed alot of heart and team spirit, there defense got stronger and more cohesive as the game went on, there is some amazing pace in the forwards. They could have a good WC campaign.Comment -

I think the under in germany 2.5 is the play.. i think it's silly to pick a side in this game.. as i think germany wins 1-0.. the moneyline has no value.. and neither does the spread..Comment -

#60could be a tough game there, Germany recently have been going through something of a reformation in terms of playing philosophy. It seems they are going for a bit more flair, which in my opinion is a lil risky as there's no point changing a working formula lol.
may be wise to leave that game and watch how Germany perform , if there good, may be a good idea to back them to go farForward points to Karayilan, i am unable to receive SBR pointsComment -

Kara nice call on the USA. Do you think the Germans will have issues scoring tomorrow against the Aussies?
The Germany v Australia game is very tough, the Aussies are playing a defensive minded formation and tactics, the 4-2-3-1 gives alot of cover and if the players fulfill their roles it can help create a deadlock in the center of the pitch. They actually do have a good defense, its cohesive and has quality players most notably Lucas Neil the captain. A criticism would be they are quite slow, so can be caught out if they push up.
Germany worries me, they have changed the winning formula by trying to change their style. They have tried to go for a more technical, skill based and attacking game. There is alot of hype about some of these young players but I am not convinced by any of them except Marin.
Underestimating Germany would be a mistake but Australia isn't that big of a dog, if it wasn't for Germany's cup form I would have no trouble fading them but the +1 on Australia is tempting.

#62I predicted that Higauin will have a howler, get replaced by Milito who will score when given the chance and the team won't look back from then on. Your Millito pick still has a chance, I just hope they give him the chance and also give Aguerro some time aswell.
Thanks man

Thanks KARA- nice analysis brother. I like Australia +1 as well as i can see a 1-0 germany win or a 1-1 /0-0 draw. I see Germany growing into the tourney slowly. They tend to miss alot of chances as well.Comment -

#68The team offence is weak on all 4 teams. But so is the slow defence which makes it a bit even(Algeria is a very unexperienced team. Slovenia has a little bit more exp. but doesn't have fast nor good technical players just like serbia. Dont know much about the Ghana team but as much as i see they dont have much experience either The only thing that can keep Ghana and Algeria up is speed and endurance). Worst case scenario its gonna be 1:0. Many people are pounding the under and the line is getting worse any second might be a good idea to jump on board as quick as possible.
