Game tonight, Central Coast v Wellington. Any thoughts?
I'm a bit stuck on this one to be honest. I'm a Phoenix fan so feel I have a pretty good read on them but the Mariners have been hard to call this season. Anyone that loses 4-0 to Adelaide has some serious issues.
Leaning the under at this stage, could be a bit of a struggle for both sides but don't feel great about it (want to bet the over as I want to see some goals though!). The last 5 CCM homes games have had a goal or less and have been pretty woeful to watch, but it's the opposite for the Phoenix away their has been plenty of goals (sursprisingly). As I'm typing and thinking about it more the Mariners have to sort their tactics out and should come out with a bit of fire, the 'Nix leak goals on the road but don't tend to score many how ever are doing so thi season. Wellington should be attacking also they've got nothing to lose and the media is on their back here over their lack of a win this season. Hopefully it's pretty open and plenty of chances.

Brisbane Roar -1 @ 1.93 v Newcastle Jets
During round 6, Jets recorded a come from behind win against the Roar. That time, Roar was without the likes of McKay, Berisha, Miller and Franjic. This time round, they will have their full squad except for Monchengladbach-bound supersub Kwame Yeboah.
As for Jets, they will missing 2 key strikers in Heskey and Burns. They haven't play that badly this season when they have these 2 strikers on the pitch. Without them, I can't see them stopping Roar from becoming the 1st A-league club to record 100 wins.

My play of the week will be on the winless Heart. They maybe the worst team in the league but this is the derby, form guide will be thrown out of the window. There is no bigger morale booster than getting a win over your arch-rivals. If they needed more motivation, Archie Thompson has just given it to them by blaming the Heart players(instead of the manager) for their league results. If this still doesn't motivate them to get something out of this game, they should just fold up and stop embarrassing themselves year in year out.Comment -

Il go with Phoenix to draw/win. Pretty decent odds.
Phoenix has been playing better than most other teams even dominating games against the Roar and Wanderers who are top 2. Problem with them is they haven't been scoring goals and just some overall bad luck.
Finally got first win last week and I can see them winning today again. Most likely also under with 1-0 win either way or 1-1. Even 0-0 is pretty decent odds for someone who likes to take a gamble but I don't think it will happen. Hearts may be desperate to win and make it into a goal feast somehow so I am staying away from over/under although under is better.Comment -

Battle of the scrub sides! Honestly both sides probably deserve more points than they've got they are just both let down by horrific finishing and shambolic defending so something has to give tonight (or not it could be 0-0!). Misfud for the Heart is so bad it's gone past the point of being funny the guy has two left feet or something, no idea how he's getting paid to play football. For the Phoenix Brockie has been dreadful which is a little surprising after last seasons efforts where he was banging them in for fun in a side that wasn't creating close to as many chances as Wellington have this season.
Going to watch the first ten and see if there's a good tempo because I don't mind the over, both have to win a draw isn't doing either any favors so it could (should) be entertaining.

They have been solid all year in defence, conceding 4 fewer goals than any other team.
They have also got all there 'GUN' players back, ONO HERSI and JURIC.
