I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base at the time. It was my day off and I was with a friend buying some steaks and beer to grill out with. While we were paying for our groceries someone mentioned that a plane had just flown into the WTC. Not knowing at the time what kind of plane it was or how serious the situation was I didn't think much more about until I got back to my dorm room and turn on the TV to witness the 2nd plane flying into the building. I and everyone else with me was horrified by what we were watching.

It was a very sad day i was at home applying for colleges to go to i was only 16 years old, i was watching the sky news and seeing the crazy scenes of the planes going inside the buildings.

I was filling vending machines in NJ. I worked all night into the morning so i was in a building when it was pretty much empty until people came in later to work. Someone said "Wow what do you think about what happened?" I had no clue what he meant because i was inside filling machines for hours . This was after the first plane hit so everyone thought it was just a bizarre accident. Of course after the 2nd Plane hit everything just got surreal.

I saw the start of it in my apartment, then had to go to work,
the North Tower was still standing.. while working in the freezer
the rest happened, owner said "this country is going to war"

it was amazing how quickly the media started blaming Muslims,
they were showing Palestinians celebrating - on the same day - which
has since been EXPOSED as unrelated footage from the 1990s.

The lie started IMMEDIATELY. And Americans believed all the lies.

I was at work, 33 stories up in one of the Twin Towers in Century City in West Los Angeles.

I was managing the brokers and after realizing our building was a target, began looking out the windows (which were the walls as it is all glass) for airplanes headed our way. When it became obvious the markets were closed for the day, I had to kick everyone out and lock the place up.

Tough to get some of the older institutional traders to leave. But it had to be done. The next few weeks we were subject to massive security checks at the building.

Many people we were in contact with daily on the East coast never got in touch again. Some of them died in WTC.

I had only moved to Vegas a short while before September 11th and was still doing touristy things. I was gonna sign-up for a Horse Racing Contest that morning walked into the Sportsbook nobody was there. Looked up at one of those Huge TV's they have at all sportsbooks saw 1st Tower on fire caption said plane runs into Tower at that point they still thought coulda been accident. As I was watching 2nd plane hit obviously letting everyone know this was a intentional act. Just sat there in Sportsbook for awhile watching CNN as both towers eventually fell it all felt very surreal.

I'd spent the night at a chick's house, I was driving home listening to Howard Stern expecting to just go home and get ready for work. That's when it happened, as soon as I got home I woke up my roommates and we watched the events in stunned silence.

I was in my late-teens at the time. I remember that I was in bed sleeping, and my Dad (RIP) came in and woke me up, saying "the United States was just attacked. World War 3 is about to break out. Tune the tv to CNN."

About 5 minutes after I turned my tv on the 2nd plane hit.

In a one room apartment back home with by brother. At the computer looking at lines, when Yahoo put up a little blurb about a small plane hitting one of the towers. One of my classmates worked on one of the top floors, but just happened to be on vacation that day. I had left NYC just a few months earlier. I worked in midtown though.

Driving to work. I remember thinking that all US cities were going to be attacked and everything would be shut down. So I stopped at a gas station and filled the tank, then hit an ATM for some cash. That's all I could think to do, I felt so helpless. At work, the owner of the company had a tv in his office, so we all spent most of the day in there.

in my office in franklin,ohio. Fbi had the office next door. Had 4 feebees watching it on my 40 inch. Never felt so helpless. Lost 3 people I knew. Just lost a drinking buddy in the shooting in cincy that no one is talking about. I guess since he wasn't radical it doesn't rate
