This is all I have tied up in NBA futures right now:

Denver Nuggets to win NW +2500
New Orleans Pelicans to win SW +4000
Mike Budenholzer Coach of the Year +25000
Quin Synder Coach of the Year +2500
Dante Exum Rookie of the Year +2000

Futures to me are just shopping for value when it comes along. For instance taking the Nuggets at +2500 right as the Durant news was released but it was still on the board. Now most places have it at +1500. Still tons of value there in my opinion IF Denver stays healthy. Some people may have good handicapping methods at futures that look well beyond the stat sheets, however I find it best to pick my spots in the regular season at -110ish odds.

Giants have won something like their last 8 home playoff games though so understand why you played them

dont think the Royals took much of a hit by losing the DH

because I like Dyson coming in to play center and Cain handling that brutal right field in San Fran.
