After having luck desert me for 3 weeks, I've had a couple of good beats this week at the start of tournies. 2 days ago first hand was KK and got to call an allin with it. About 3 hands later it's AA and scored another person pushing allin I could call.

Yesterday in the first few hands I got QQ and pushed allin myself. AA called, but I rivered a Q.

Going for 5 out of 5 cashes today in 10.00am.

Although still haven't had a top 3 finish in more than a month I think.

i flopped a full house and shoved...

he called with a set and WHAT HAPPENS???THE TURN IS A QUEEN AND HE MAKES QUADS.
Not to mention there was 14 people left and we were both placed in the top 5 chip lead...

blinds 50/100, late position, KQ, everyone folds, I raise to 400. Blacke all ins with 650.

He has Q3 and gets two threes on the flop.

well, that was frustrating. Had KJ, my J hit, but it made someone else's straight. Made me very short stacked. A few hands later, blinds 150/300, I all in with KJ off, 375 chips. Called by MoneyLineDawg's 26 off. Straight hits for him on the river.

ouch, I've done that a few times with live blackjack tournaments (which I've had brutal luck in for the past two months, amazing), but not with poker, because I register and then just leave it open, so the table pops up when the tournament begins. Since they haven't allowed early registration, it's not long to leave the program open. Plus I often wait to register until just before it starts.

with blackjack you have to register, then remember when it starts in order to join the table. You get DQed after a few minutes if you don't manually join the table.

Played in two poker tournaments today.

JJ, big raise preflop, guy calls. Flop comes JQ some other card. I bet again. He calls. Turn 9 river Queen, wind up all in with a huge stack.

Turns out the other guy had Q9. Unbelievable hand. That he kept calling and rivered me when I had a sick hand

I thought maybe a straight, but when the river gave me a boat, I figured I had nothing to be afraid of

Then the other tournament.

Q10, flop comes Q4Q. I re-raise, then wind up all-in when someone re-raises me. Other dude has Q8. Turn clean, 8 on river.

finish outside the money twice with crazy hands.

Just won my first tourney of 2012.

Hardly saw a great hand either. Didn't see bullets or cowboys once. Had one AKs and folded it to two earlier allins.

Final hand he pushed with QJ and I called with QQ, which was the best hand I got to play all day!

Anyway, pleased to have broken the bagel, after 6 months of trying.

this week 9-5 flop comes 9-5-3 i all in he calls he has pocket 9's
next day i get 7-8 flop comes a 7-8 3 all in he calls he has pocket 8s
today i get AA and raise 350 get 2 callers. Flop comes 3-5-7 I all in get called with A-7 turn card is another 7

my sbr poker claims it saves the hands to a specific location, but when I go to the folder it isn't there.

Anyway, chip leader in 9 PM, over 14K chips, KJ, J and two low cards on flop. I bet roughly the pot. footballtime calls, bet pot again on turn, he again calls.

He has J10 and the river is a 10. I dropped about 11K chips

so much for that high finish

AJ running into JJ, QQ running into KK, getting outkicked two hands in a row by a slowplaying garydn, and then the kicker:

over 2k chips in 5 PM, I raise big with 99, mosesmillsap allins. I'm pot committed. He flips 22 and then flops a 2.

Guy raises to 200. I re-raise to 600 (late position). bb calls for the other 500. The initial raiser folds.

Flop 567 offsuit. I bet, other guy all-ins. I call. He flips 34

this one was jake's fault. he told me about the Sunday night tournament.

DSI heavily advertises a tournament with a 215 buyin and a 50k guaranteed prize pool (popup every time you log in to BKR or DSI during Sunday afternoon/night), but they also have one has a 5.5 buyin and pays out 5K guaranteed. That's what I played in. Still can't get over that hand. So many donkeys there. Calling KK with 34 (with only 1/6 in and another guy behind him that could call/re-raise) and then hitting the straight on the flop?

Ended up playing a few tourneys.

Not sure why people think bad beats only happen at SBR... Geebus it felt like that place was rigged against me. Played this unlimted rebuy one and spent about 10 bucks at 50c a rebuy just trying to see a winning showdown. LOL

Rolling over points after winning in tourneys basically sucks. Its amazing how many people call with nothing and catch something on the river. Old Robbie Wrath did that to me today. Had ace 9 flop came 4 9 10 he raises it to 6 i go all in with 30 he calls with Jack King. Catches a jack on the river buckin donk boy.

many of the people at the ring tables are very reckless. They won't want to spend time rolling it I guess so some shove/call with almost nothing.
