1. Interforum contest. Invite other forums to select their best cappers and go head to head. You can do it bracket style and decide how many people from each forum. Let each forum vote on their players. The prizes can come from the SBR store ie...free plays from books for like the top 4 (winner being the highest of course) and maybe a pizza for the top 8 or 16, depending on how many you end up with either 128 or 256.
2. Gamelive tried a thing called their game of the day. The biggest issue was that they waited for that particular day to discuss games and vote on which game would be "their play of the day". Not every one logs in at the same time and sometimes early games were off th board before you could talk about it. I would suggest making like a Mondays' SBR Game of the Day thread early on for each member to look at schedules and start talking about pros/cons, injuries, etc. Most of the guys here have a close idea of what the lines will be when they come out. Then set up a vote thread. That way if people want to play the game, they will have the option of looking for the best line and/or the SBR book. But it involves everyone in one play to "beat the book" which is kinda what everyone wants to do.
