I went and checked what Mexi said about it being the highest and it did tie the March pool as highest with 20 people for 400. We usually were getting 280-340 prize pools.

win/draw was a big favorite (-160 about, I'd think), but it didn't work out this time.

over 2.5 was like -150 and that did hit.

live betting update:

I was persistent with football live betting and I started finding edges with some of the lesser games, like weekday college football.

Major edges on Bodog tonight for bets on USF and the over. (-2 instead of -4, -150 instead of -200, totals consistently set about 3 points too low).

Back to SftC, I took Florida hockey so that I could get in another pick tonight. Not a pick I'd take if I had a W2 or more, but oh well. Probably Cousins boards late.

does Bodog charge you extra juice on the spreads/totals? I've been doing ok at SBET, but they used to charge -120 (now it's -130) on live spread/totals. I usually find myself on a couple of unders if I'm paying attention

atm if i'm doing live betting, i'll have the half point calculator in one tab, and excel open where it strips the juice from pinny and tells me how much to bet according to kelly

my biggest issue during live betting is figuring out how much better or worse a spread/total is if SBET is off from Pinny since you also have to account for the current score (not 0-0).

DSI does do extra juice (30 cent lines), Bodog does not charge extra.

20 cent lines like usual.

5 Dimes also does 20 cent lines, but their lines are hard to beat. The standard spread/ML/total are almost impossible to beat. 5 Dimes is still handy for in play props (sometimes beatable), and if you want to hedge out instead of letting an edge ride.

my setup:

stream on PC, with tabs open to 5 Dimes, DSI, and Bodog

netbook for surfing during action and also with a tab open to Pinnacle's lines. During breaks, I refresh Pinnacle with one hand and click back and forth to the three books on my PC, refreshing as I go.

Last break DSI and Bodog didn't post lines for some reason.

yep, similar set-up as mine (minus the 2 computers)

i've got a monitor with a tv tuner, and the kelly sheet with pinny/sbet/5dimes tabs (if i can't find the game on pinny - mostly for NFL games) open. when it cuts to commercial, i'll refresh sbet constantly until odds show up, then refresh pinny to avoid getting ip banned.

i think it's standard for live lines to be taken down as it nears halftime and the end of the game.

Bodog usually takes them down fastest. During baseball games, you can't get them after like the 5th inning usually, minus times when they'll occasionally offer the total (like when the closer comes in and they essentially offer -300 that another run will not be scored).

DSI usually keeps them up longer, but not today.

I'd actually rather just relax and watch the game without worrying about the lines, but I don't want to miss an opportunity. Now, though, I think it's time to give up.

Even Pinny is getting slow at posting lines, and the last break all they had was a PK line (same as ML in this case).

pinnacle also only posting mls still. 5 Dimes has spread and total as well.

Almost no edge this past break, but I put a dollar on USF +120, which beat Pinnacle's line of +111. Almost exactly the no vig line.

also goes to show the leaderboard is 100% luck, since there's only been 1 or 2 heavy favs a day (not that i needed more convincing)

yeah i saw it was 2 men up, but the 2nd red didn't come til the 90th

and gerrard only came in around the 65th or so
