Bc the shooter would have to run out of bullets to know he's out of bullets unless he's methodically counting to 30 and then jumping behind some conveniently bulletproof to all directions area to reload...at some point you are going to have to stop shooting and reload and this is when a shooter is at his most vulnerable...but again in a crowd of 200 (who could all be armed) you would be a sitting duck to indefensible fire from every conceivable direction...unarmed pussies are the cause of mass shootings

#387There is no reason to track purchases of legal citizens who haven't been interviewed by the FBI twice. All you have to do is enforce the laws on the books. That is the NUMBER ONE mistake liberals make. Don't make that mistake mac.
and again, guns had NOTHING to do with the attack other than the weapon of choice. Last night could have been much worse with simple fire bombs.Comment -

#390Youre an idiot too.
Theres violence in his country and my country too.
Big difference.....
I cant get out of my car with a grenade and kill a guy .
Cootch encounters violence in his counrty too.
Big Diffencence....
He doesnt have a presidential candidate telling his country to protect their AK 47's & AR 14's.
No one is saying your country is a hell hole.
Just saying if you want to reduce the number of mass shooting you need gun law reform.
If you like killing each other by the dozens then leave it the same.
Let's take Australia for example bc it seems that's where Coochy is from....let's see what the Aussies think about this gun ban and it's effectiveness DOWN UNDER
It is a common fantasy that gun bans make society safer. In 2002 -- five years after enacting its gun ban -- the Australian Bureau of Criminology acknowledged there is no correlation between gun control and the use of firearms in violent crime. In fact, the percent of murders committed with a firearm was the highest it had ever been in 2006 (16.3 percent), says the D.C. Examiner.Even Australia's Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research acknowledges that the gun ban had no significant impact on the amount of gun-involved crime:- In 2006, assault rose 49.2 percent and robbery 6.2 percent.
- Sexual assault -- Australia's equivalent term for rape -- increased 29.9 percent.
- Overall, Australia's violent crime rate rose 42.2 percent.

I get the idea of protecting yourself by carrying a weapon BUT most people are not properly trained to carry a weapon. Those people put you and me in danger carrying a weapon in public. The best solution is to make sure no one in the venue is carrying but trained safety personnel.Comment -

#393Less than that. My brother lives a couple miles from both places. He drives by that club on his way to work every day. His daughter has been to that pavilion many times where the singer was shot. My son wanted to see 2 Chainz who performed there last year. There was a shooting at a teen kids club a few months ago in Orlando too. This shit is going on all over the country.
People keep talking about how safe we are in Texas because apparently everyone is armed?? Bullshit. We just had a Marine suffering from PTSD shoot up one of the nicest neighborhoods in Houston down the street from me killing and injuring many. This dude shot up a cop car 5 blocks away. He was such a good shot he perfectly outlined bullets on the driver and passenger side like a target at a shooting range. He blew up a gas station hitting a fuel tank as well.
Everybody at Fort Hood is packing heat but that did nothing to stop mass shooting gunmen in 2009 and 2014.Comment -

#40230 round machine gun?
See this is why democracy is dangerous...we let ppl vote on whether or not to have guns who have no earthly idea what they are talking about. A machine gun is a fully automatic weapon....it's a military weapon capable (in auto mode) of continuous firing as long as the trigger is held and can fire upwards of a 1000 rounds/min...a semi-auto weapon is capable of firing 1 round/trigger pull...this translates to about 45-60 rounds per minute but keep in mind a 30 round magazine would already run out of rounds at 30 and a new magazine would have to be retrieved from wherever the shooter had his magazines at in order to replace the empty mag to reload...at this particular point the shooter would stop firing and is extremely vulnerable to anyone with any gun (be it a semi-auto or revolver) as he's essentially unarmed. Even whilst shooting he is vulnerable to fire from all other directions....with whatever a couple hundred ppl with potentially a couple hundred directions of fire to defend from he is essentially a sitting duck to an armed populace.
However...since pussies are scared of guns and would prefer to be killed rather than be able to defend themselves the crowd is unarmed and he shoots them at will until people with guns finally show up and stop him.Comment -

Here are your "moderate" muslims celebrating 9/11. These people are just like your avg white picket fence family here, they take the kids to soccer, go out to the movies, hangout with friends, suicide bomb a populated area. This is everything we stand for so we need to stop being so islamaphobic and be more understandingComment -

And yeah we still have guns and people still occasionally get shot by said guns BUT when you take out the high powered option for the general populace then (as you can see) murders of the mass variety simply are far less of an option for a potential psychopath to enact...Comment -

#410Yes...any of those homeowners armed and skilled with a rifle could've put him down. Again I'm from TN where shooting/hunting is a normal hobby...if you're from Houston and guns are a foreign concept and you've never shot one you're going to be amazed. Finding guns you are confident (through practice) with using might save your life someday...or the lives of others.Last edited by bettilimbroke999; 06-12-16, 07:45 PM.Comment -

#413Don't mind him. He's been gripped in fear by watching too much TV. He thinks everyone on his block is plotting to kill him. So instead of ensuring they don't have access to high powered assault weapons, he himself wants said weapons for himself. One day, a Muslim is going to be walking his dog and he'll shoot them out of fear that they were plotting an elaborate plan.Comment -

#417The RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova, Russian: Ручной пулемёт Калашникова or "Kalashnikov hand-held machine gun") is a 7.62×39mm light machine gun of Soviet design, developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the late 1950s, parallel with the AKM assault rifle. It was created as part of a program designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army, where it replaced the 7.62×39mm RPD light machine gun. The RPK continues to be used by the armed forces of countries of the former Soviet Union and certain African and Asian nations. The RPK was also manufactured in Bulgaria and Romania.Comment -

This happened down the street from me, where all of us our gun owners and we were told to shelter in place. A friend of mine who lives 3 houses from where that police car got shot up was riding his bike and had no idea what was going on. He got in his car and drove the back route to the gas station that he saw burning because he thought there was an accident. Another police car flagged him to turn around as he was driving right into the fire. Another guy (25 year old guy, who might be related to you) in the neighborhood went out to confront this shooter with his pistol... He ended up in the hospital after being shot several times but thankfully he lived. This shooter was an expert marksman and you think homeowners are going to put him down?Comment -
