Methodology: For this informal experiment, we obtained a 24-inch pipe from Texas Pipe and Supply in Middlesex, N.J. Mr. Monck endeavored to cut as much of the pipe as possible in a five minute span with each tool in turn. Sound meters were set up 10 feet away.

Note: Time for reciprocating saw includes plunge cuts which took a total of 34 minutes for the four needed. Hacksaw time does not include plunge cutting, which we did not estimate, but likely would take many hours, if not days.

* The grinders were effective, but they spit a plume of sparks and smoke, and created a terrible din. The replaceable $2 abrasive wheels were worn out after four inches of cutting.

* The circular saw was faster, but louder from 10 feet away than a subway E train approaching 42nd Street at full speed.

* The reciprocating saw, equipped with a hardware-store blade, raced through the steel pipe. Even though it took a long time to make the initial hole in the pipe wall.

* The hacksaw, while stealthy, would take at least 10 times as long, working without breaks.

White guy was used initially to see if the girl would bite on having a relationship. Once that plan worked the Hispanic guy moved in for the kill. He lied to her about the getaway plan as just a ruse. Media with the paintings probably haven't even done their homework yet

They took the train from the prison. No car no Canada yet.

It looks like they got off in friendship and missed the next one.

The route looks like Buffalo/Pennsylvania but will probably head further south into the US unless they are caught before.

She didn't show up because the husband talked some sense into her. If she shows up, she's dead as a hammer and the husband knew it.

They probably originally planned for Canada but when the chick didn't show with the car they had to go to plan B. They immediately started south instead of north on foot because they assumed they wouldn't make the border on foot before the bells sounded. All speculation here but they probably snagged a car at some point or hit the railroads.

The only reason the husband is still involved is because mr hot shot dapper dressed Matt had them all scared for their lives. I would assume the authorites have already shaken down anyone in contact with Matt to include C.O's. Feels like this kind of plan takes way more than 4 to pull off.
