you gotta develop a mature, stoic attitude to the $-exhaling days...

you can't get in the habit of trying to get "revenge" or get "back up" with a later game before you go to bed (cuz when the games run out...you might start trying to get things "right" with later spins or cards)...

very often you can "get back up"...but it is a very very bad habit...exactly like changing lanes without a shoulder check...you can get away with it many times...but sooner or later...bam

best thing is take your exhales the same way as your inhales...acknowledge them and know that the long-term path of your bank-roll is up...and it gets that way by daily putting on the value plays...which means that over time the inhales overwhelm the exhales

...you had an ok day...7-5 and just a unit down

keep digging out the value plays and watch the account continue it's upward (yet natually bumpy) climb

As a piece of advice, I was always thought that buying points in basketball total games was -ev. Apparently the guy that wrote the thread said books charge excessive fees for each .5pt and its not worth it. I think yesterday was the first time ive seen you do it and in fairness we were robbed by the three. Just thought id add it as advice and food for thought... Not trying to dictate what to do in future bets either.

DOMINICAN game hurt......there was no putting them on giving up that 4 spot in the first inning....the ENTIRE rest of the game was dominated by DR. We may have lost, but at 1 to 2, the correct bet here was DR and I bet they cover 8 times out of 10....no such thing as a sure thing I guess!

As I mentioned before....it is a small win today, but we squeaked out a profit of $150 even though we had a couple of tough beats.....and after three (smallish) losing days ($ wise) it just felt good to like the games I was on. I say this because Air Force demolished UNLV at home this year and sent the game into overtime @ UNLV. To me its scary. On the plus side vegas is giving them 10 points so you have to wonder why that is. Thats the main reason i am staying away from this game.

D2D, thanks for posting, just started following, but went through the thread. I absolutely hate BBall teasers but have to give you credit, you have been doing well, keep up the good work.
