The first time around the Giants were coming off a huge victory over the toughest team on their schedule, on the road. The return of Kenny Phillips and the big nickel package will make it MUCH tougher for the Skins to run tonight, and Coughlin has had a few weeks to make adjustments in containing RG3 & Morris.

Washington doesn't handle a strong pass rush well in protection either.

All kinds of chances to hedge these out during the game, but I had too much faith in the GMen. First road loss when leading at halftime since 2006, first game with 9 penalties in 3.5 years. Overall a pathetic effort.

Five failed RZ trips for the Broncos tonight, Pittsburgh with 8 TOs 2 weeks ago, the Giants with their worst road performance since 2006 on Monday, Brees with 5 INTs and no TDs vs Atlanta, etc. Some quality play

Five failed RZ trips for the Broncos tonight, Pittsburgh with 8 TOs 2 weeks ago, the Giants with their worst road performance since 2006 on Monday, Brees with 5 INTs and no TDs vs Atlanta, etc. Some quality play

No, I was making a point ABOUT the recent losses.

I'm not arguing that I should have won those games, or blaming bad luck for the losses. Doesn't affect my confidence in my work at all, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to those performances being fairly extreme outliers, or that I don't recognize the good bounces when they happen.

Were you watching the game? That deflection/fumble TD was ridiculous... The news was officially announced today that Norv is done at the end of the year, and I guess that added a bit of motivation for the guys to finish the year strong.

That unlikely SD score cost me the 2H as well...

I would expect a re-doubled effort by the Steelers next week off that embarrassment today. That line sounds about right, but I'm not sure if it'll be a big or standard play. Too annoyed about how today went to make any good choices right now...
