At the beginning of the season making a line for this Week game between Dallas and Detroit would have see Dallas at least a six point favorite. The fact that it isn't reflects the last three weeks of action. Dallas is not playing well, but found a way to win Monday with SIX FG. Still hard for to grasp whether Detroit is real.. or whether this is smoke and mirrors and due for a complete trashing. Sorry to be on the fence, but.... Detroit does not run the ball that well ranking 26th gaining 78.3 yards per game. However...... Play on road teams where the line is +3 to -3 after gaining 50 or less rushing yards last game. This system has gone 41-16 ATS for 72% winners since 2001. 21 of these plays covered the spread by seven or more points. Hmmmmmmmm.

I honestly hope there is a prop bet that is listed to bet that the Phillies go 11-0 and win the World Championship. I would do that even though it is not all that realistic, but if there was ever a team that could get hot right and dominate for a month it is this team.

hey John, what is your opinion of the Tigers in the post season. they do have Verlander and Fister, as a one two punch. if they make it to the Series, they could give Philly a run for there money.

I could paragraphs about this but the simple fact is that no team has a pitcher in the third game like Cole Hamels to even come close matching up against. And honest verlander/Halladay is even and Lee is vastly better than Fister. Then Hamels.

Philly has the better pitching staff, for sure. best in baseball. but i think you have to look at Fister stats since he became a Tiger. ERA 1.79 walks 5 SO 57.
he has been as good as Lee, if not better latey. if things line up right Verlander and Fister could start games 1 and 2. these 2 guys give the Tigers a good chance to take 1 or 2 games in Phlly.

Yeah Saints have failed me many times before on the road. Its seems as if they cant come thru for me when they are -7.5. on the road. I look back to games with like ATL last year when it seems as they cant even get their offense going. Jax I know is not a high powered offense but their defense looks pretty solid. I haven't seen anything too impressive with the Saints run game, yes they have Sproles and the heisman winner rookie Ingram, which make me feel as the depth of the team is not quite there yet. Im relying on Defense on this one and Jax at home may be able to expose the Saint passing defense after 3 weeks of film to look at. Now Im not saying that Jax will win but 7.5 home dog is gonna fuel a close game.

I sincerely hope I can increase the 11-5 ATS start we have attained here through Week 3. Curious to know if someone can confirm the rumore that NE has made personnel changes in the back-end of their secondary.. We all know NE and Coach Beliechick are great bets after a loss. However, their defense ranks dead last i n so many categories and Oakland obviously can run the ball. Just thinking the Patriots at -4 may be one of those bets too good to be true.

I like second half plays but I rarely issue one. For example, on the college thread i did give out a second half pick on Pitt panthers and they won the second half 21-0.. it won, but was all based on the Pitt dominance at the LOS... Whne I see those things in the game it does present potential opportunities.
