Tampa Wed 5/20
Race 3
Found Something that might present some value
Its a Maiden Claiming 16k on the turf, and plenty are logical in here like the #3 Cask (2/1) , Cuts tag in half for the Stidham barn. Kathy has the #6 Analyzeyourvision (5/2) , has been within 2.5 lengths at this level in the last two. The #11 Terry Jade (8/1) , Is dropping from the strong turf barn in Sarah Nagle. But the one I’m interested in is the #2 Sorcier (10/1) , This gelding didn’t lift his legs on the the first two tries on dirt, got a freshening and was meant for the turf (which is clearly what this one is bred for). Lost by 12 lengths but was a clear 2nd that day and the number shows marked improvement. Im not all that familiar with this barn, but finally getting on the lawn in this spot, suggest this one could be hidden in this spot, and because of the easy logical ones to bet on here, (which I could never back at those short prices) We have a potentially live one here at a number.

The 8th race is actually a really strong field.
A horse I been on the first 2 times, comes from the florida breeders we have been making money from. I heard this one was on the better looking runners there, and has shown that so far up to this point. Will be a price, and stiff competition. But worth a flyer on #5 Baby Boomer (10/1)
I'll be trying both these horses on wednesday

agree on #2 sorcier.. like the last race and that's a fast figure on the dirt for this level..as turfy a pedigree as you can get (as you said).. personally I like the no name trainer as gives it a little camouflage
#8 hex (6-1) my other

it’s right off tilton near the summer boat house I’m talking about , headed towards 322 in other direction
I have a lil boat horse there in that marine that still hasn’t been fixed since sandy

Look for trainers to get their lay-off horses that qualify a race underneath without the chance of being lost
this is an encouraging sign clearly of how they feel about their runner

You can get to this one off tilton road. Coming off of Jerome. Where the docks are. Just take tilton to shore mall it merges into 322. Go about 4 miles on your left. If that's the same one.
There is a shop rite home depot. In the complex it's on the smaller side but it's a great spot. They just opened in the last year

Just looked at that race 3 tommorw at TD. If Sorcier can convert that form to turf, he has a chance. He will probably stay hidden, trainer has dismal numbers, but the horse had run last time and made a huge leap. Also, Santos isn't a top jockey, but he's been sneaky good lately. Won 3 out of last 4, two of them md claimers ,one on turf. In May, on turf, Santos has gone 6-2-0-2-2. This a good value pick, I agree.

know what I said but the degen I am tough to do .. so going to compromise lol.. put a max two plays a day in this thread through this week.. good chance to try and focus in and decide if there is a 3rd or 4th in consideration who makes it (and more times than not it isn't a black and white decision)

#6 mr hand full (10-1)
maybe they named him that for a reason lol.. line perfect.. but other thing I thought was how much faster his pace figs are then the probable favorite just inside of him.. also you have a cutback from 1 1/8 to a mile.. coming back in 2 weeks you think he'd retain some of that fitness from that race.. connections obscure so won't attract a bunch of attention. also you have gallardo on the outside with a well bred 4yo firster (especially what dam did on track and as a broodmare).. but starting as a 4yo for $16k so that's easy to take a stand against at a low price

imo if sorcier (10-1) goes off double digits he's probably dead.. even with the bad trainer think he should be in the 5-8 range
