Everything looking good early besides HArtford, come on!
Not all matchups set:
Sac St vs No Zona (Boise), Man what's this like 8:30 local time start. On the court, I believe the matchup favors the Lumberjacks and lean that way @ +$. Northern Arizona +100
Clemson vs NC St (Charlotte), I don't get how this line is only -1. NC ST Sucks bottom, and yeah they matchup well on the defense end, but the Tigers will lock them down. Play Clemson -110
Umass vs George Washington (Brooklyn), I think the Minuteman make enough 3's to advance to here, but zero interest in laying any points here.
Colorado St vs Boise (Las Vegas), Broncos went through a brutal stretch towards the end of the season. They had lost 6 straight and 8 of 9 before playing an outstanding home finale in blowing out Air Force(a sucker play we fell for). It tough to figure out who will win this one, but both teams should have no issue scoring inside. I know the pace is going to be slow but to me this total feels like @ ~141. Prob sit it out though. Also wouldn't wanna bet against Boise in this spot.
Idaho St vs Southern Utah (Boise), I believe SUU defense gets them this win, but can't get behind either as an investment.
Miami vs Virginia Tech (Charlotte), Miami might keep this close early, and play tougher than expected, but Hokies will be too much in the end.
Arizona vs USC (Las Vegas), Sean Miller has basically said his farewell, so its tough to figure if they can rally or just fall apart. I lean toward the later, and it already seems like a good spot for the trogans to regroup. They finished the season losing 4 straight, but last 3 were on the road. USC wins this with defense and 3 point shooting. USC +100
Fordham vs Richmond (Brooklyn), Its real easy to lean Richmond at first glance, but I really think this can go either way. Spiders should get what they want on paper, but this game is filled w/ Fresh & Soph's and tough to call.
Idaho vs Montana St (Boise), Vandals are just flat out terrible, but on a neutral court this really isn't that bad of a matchup. 12 is a ton of points, Idaho can get hot from deep, and an upset is not that crazy here. Idaho +12
Wyoming vs New Mexico (Las Vegas), All i can gather here, is its going to be a brisk tempo, but this ugly basketball.
California vs Colorado (Las Vegas), Cal won 3 straight to end the season, but so did the Buffalos. I like Rado to make a deep a run in this tournament, think we got 9/1 to win it. But no chance im laying DD here.
Houston Baptist vs Lamar (Katy), Cardinals been rolling and just beat these guys by 35 2 weeks ago. However, on a neutral court in this spot, I believe the matchup favors the huskies and lean that way +4.5 or so. Houston Baptist +4.5 1x
Nebraska vs Rutgers (Chicago), Flip a coin
Georgia vs Missouri (Nashville), Bulldogs only 2-16 in SeC and they really look lost after losing Rayshaun Hammonds, scoring 55, 39, & 46 in last 3. Tigers have finished the season on a positive note, and probably get this win with defense and rebounding. But not willing to lay points w/ them.
FAU vs La Tech (Frisco), Simply too tight to call
Butler vs Providence (MSG), 3 time these guys playing in about 2 weeks, Friars winning both. Ed Cooley's defense should prevail again, but scary game to wager on.
San Jose St vs Air Force (Vegas), Really ugly game on both sides, the 10.5 pretty much says it all. But i won't be involved.
Okie St vs TCU (Kansas City), I do like the way the Cowboys are playing right now, and would like to back them to ruin the Frogs chances of dancing. But this is not a good matchup for them on neutral.
Bucknell @ Colgate, Battle of first place teams to dance and the bison have been here before. Great defensive battle, but feels like its just the raiders year, pass.
Middle Tenn vs UAB (Frisco), Blue Raiders beat them in a B2b Late Jan/Early Feb, But blazers open as 4.5 favorites and I believe they get the last laugh in the one that counts.
Cent Arky vs Tex CC (Katy), Bears have been stepping it up lately winning 3 of 4. Extremely young group will be a team to watch out for in the next 2 years. I do think they can keep that going here, but relying so much on the 3 ball @ a neutral site is tough to back.
Stanford vs UCLA (Vegas), Too close to call
Northwestern vs Illy (Chicago), Another ugly game to cap
DePaul vs St Johns (MSG), Blue Demons won both reg season matchups & they have a big edge on the glass here. Pretty much a home line @ -4.5 here, pass.
West Virginia vs Oklahoma (Kansas City), Don't wanna back either
North Texas vs FIU (Frisco), Mean Green lost 7 straight, but man I thought they are better than this. 2 of those 7 were against the Panthers. I believe they get it done here, w/ defense but tough to back as favorites at this point.
Vanderbilt vs Texas A&M (Nashville) Commodores 0-18 in SEC play, I think they are capable of keeping this close and even pulling the upset, again a tough back but playing in nashville I like the 3.5.
Rice vs Marshall (Frisco), Herd are a scary team to bet against right now, but you wanna lay 6.5? not me
Washington St vs Oregon (Vegas), Not much to see here either, Ducks win.
Recap:
Northern Arizona @ +$ 1x (would play up to -1 -110)
Clemson @ -1 1x
USC @ +$ 1x (would play up to -1 -110)
Idaho +12 1x (close your eyes special)
Houston Baptist +4.5 1x
Vandy +3.5
