Heat ML (-120) 1x (Locked)

Just able to post this now and most shops are at -125 and a few at -130. I am kicking myself for not playing my Boston lean yesterday and I will not make the same mistake by passing on the heat. I am not going to get hooked and lay the -1.5, so I will spend a little extra on the ML. When lines are razor sharp like in the playoffs, there is no room for error. In this game, Miami should make the adjustments necessary to win a close game in a classic zig zag spot. I don't see them shooting so poorly two games in a row and Indy is very inconsistent. I am rolling with the Heat for 1x. Good luck.

Even after the last game, pinny opened Boston/Philly at 172.5. That is insane and tells me they are leaning under big time. I really wanted 175 to go big though. This makes our decision of our stake much harder.

LTA, I think this Pacers game will be really close but doubt the same will happen for the Spurs. If I am to do a teaser, do you think I should take Ind +5 1/2 or Mia +2 1/2? Or are teasers a waste of money in your opinion?

Really like Miami and Spurs/Clippers over 194 tonight. Do you have any thoughts on that total tonight?

I'm surprised LTA is on the Heat in this one. The Heat cant shoot much worse than they have but it's not like Indy has been shooting well either. For the series Indy is shooting a slightly higher percentage and I see the role players for the Pacers shooting much better tonight in front of the home crowd. With Bosh out the Heat are .500 and although it's a small sample, from what I've seen the Pacers have a better TEAM right now. It's not like Indy even played well Tuesday and they still won. Their depth, size, and overall balance will be too much at home for Miami tonight. It's either a no play or Pacers IMO.

You are undervaluating the Lebron factor, soxside, that all hate apart, has won over series by himself over arguably better teams than Indiana (with worst supporting cast).

At least Illgauskus and Gooden could knock down an open jumpshot. Joel Anthony...Pittman??? Terrible and Haslem isn't the same. I agree Lebron has a chance to dominate this game but its not a strong enough one to bet on it. GL

I was talking big men, I don't consider Wade supporting cast so I just meant as far as role players go its hard to argue these guys are any better than those in the Cleveland days. Obviously with Wade there's much more talent with the Heat than in Cleveland but I guess my main point is Bosh is more important than people have been giving him credit for.

These are better defenders (except maybe for Varejao), and Haslem was big last year.

But yes, I also think Bosh is really important, specially when Lebron is out. He usually thrives in those 2 or 3 minutes with those lineups.

After choking in the stretch there is no reason to believe LeBron doesn't come out and assert himself in this game. He isn't alone in Cleveland anymore and Wade is too much of a competitor to not push LeBron.

I even bet on LBJ O30.5 pts for this game ... (on top of Heat ML)

I think it'll be close, but Heat eek one out in the end. Indiana is no less of a schitzo team than the Heat, so don't be surprised to see them wilt in the 3rd or 4th quarter.

Dwayne Wade is sucking like he did last year in the semis, Battier is 0-6 in COMPLETELY WIDE OPEN THREES, and I mean really wide open, Lebron all of a sudden can't make space for a good shot and this guy are going into a deep deep hole.

We should actually get pretty good value on the Heat in game 4 for a nice size play. Perhaps its mental or an injury, but it is very unlikely for a player the caliber of Wade to shot 10% again. We might even get plus odds on the Heat or a pick'em.

Wade gave up awhile ago. Wont even look at Spoelstra in the huddles after that altercation. That could mean problems moving forward.

Even though the game by Chalmers won't likely repeat, Im definitively chasing these for 2 units on the next game if I can get a pick'em or better. The Heat have just missed so many wide open shots, specially battier. Lebron has had like 5 or 6 jumpers rimout, the Pacers on the other hand are 19-21 from the foul line and even 6 of 11 from three.

Offshore book (bet online) reporting that the Heat are 9-1-1 on the under in the last 11 games that Bosh has missed. I have not verified but I wish I would have noticed this earlier.

We all know the reasons for the under in this series. I will be chasing it assuming we don't hit in this game 4. Despite game 3's high score, Pinny made no adjustment for game 4 by opening at 172.5 as if they were begging for over money. I expect this one to close around 172 for a game that I have set at 170 and I am rolling with the under for 2.5x. Good luck.
