One thing about SBR I don't understand. Not sure why people love to bash on other people when they lose.

The Sport-forum troll: Facts and Theories

Research done on this interesting sub-(or perhaps non-)human species indicate that when exposed to a sport-betting forum page showing at least two consecutive losing days they get an uncontrollable erection (just as a strarved dog exposed to food salivates)…

Perhaps we should pity the wretched creatures…they’re in constant search of relief from the “priapism” caused by SBR where hundreds of arousing threads assault their pathetic little proto-brains simultaneously. (Interestingly, it’s recently been revealed that trolls are “prolly” allergic to dictionaries the way vampires are said to be allergic to garlic…so they are in fact hard-wired incapable of comprehending the previous, or this, sentence. One theory has it that their proto-brain simply switches off after 39 words or two sentences, whichever comes first…neuronal impulses are then directly shunted to the reptilian-brain, leading to their impulse to “bite the hand that feeds them”.)

This inept group wasn’t even noticed until the rise of the internet in general, sports-forums in particular. Till now, they’ve usually been “contained” living unproductive lives in some random relative’s basement and misdiagnosed as a garden-variety “loser”…but proctologists have always known better and have been waging a secret war on behalf of humanity to, as one practitioner put it “throw them off their game and keep them at bay" (even leaking the rectal-thermometer “joke” so that the battle could be “waged while hidden in plain site by the seeming ridulousness of it all”)…They take such a hardline approach because they believe that the forum-trolls are actually the advance guard to an alien invasion. The same proctologist theorized that they (the trolls) have been sent here to soften and decay the social- and intellectual-fabric of humanity, but have chosen to focus first on the volatile internet-gambling virtual community.

Oh I'm sorry, I missed learning about that form of sports wagering in which anything CAN'T happen. I can't wait to learn about it.

It's a game. This is supposed to be fun. It appears that I will lose this Chicago game...and many other games after this one is over too. The key is if I can win more than I lose then I can keep having fun.

I tail LTA because I like to tail cappers with some class. Read all of the thousands of posts on this thread and you will see that it is a very civil place to post. LTA has a job...I'm guessing a pretty important one... and he takes time out nearly every day to share his insights on sports throughout the year and when he does we all make our choices to tail, ignore or fade if we wish. It appears you won the Chicago game by fading. Congrats. Your win tonight did not hurt anyone here.

But one thing is very clear...nothing you said tonight or any other night has had any bearing whatsoever with whether we win or lose. You cannot ever do anything to change the outcome of these plays.

With all the "drafts" I got a little chilled. Went to grab a fleece and wondered, what's a hondo?

Well, for those curious as I, the dictionary produced two results.

                            hondo
                            1. The act of taking a shit.
                            2. Describing a massive dump.
After eating that huge burrito, a hondo is in order.

I think I just took the worlds fastest hondo (appropriate for use after a case of diahreaha).
                            hondo
to act like one is still in high school after graduating; wearing a letter jacket, t-shirt, or high school class ring at college; attending a high school sporting event after graduating and sitting in the student section; dating high school girls after one has graduated
Did you see Danberry at the game on Friday? What a hondo loser.

At first I thought it was #1. Maybe 5 flush hondo? Then, I thought maybe #2 ? Hondo class of 2005? What do you think?

Sorry about the paste, boys. That's ugly. Back and forth between Win 7 and OS-X. Note to self, preview paste on mac. Hate to take a "hondo" on the thread.

In all seriousness, I'm happy that the Bulls pulled out the win tonight. I knew the total was toast in the last minute. Was on the edge of my seat praying for the Bulls to cover the - 4. Taj whiffed on those free throws and cursing, but Noah iced them in the end.

Interesting game on Monday with the Bulls at home against Pacers. Both teams hot, ripping off 6 games in a row, each. It will be interesting to see where this number comes out. I have Bulls - 7 projected. If it comes out that high, hate to say it, might have to take a hard look at those Pacers.

NBA 2011-2012 Regular Season Recap 3/4/2012

                                    1 - 1 = -0.2x

                                    NBA 2011-2012 Season

                                    90 - 73 = +17.25x

So close to a 2-0, +4x Sunday in followup to our 2-0, +2x Saturday, but it was not meant to be. Overall, we end up losing some juice for the week but we remain on target for our season goals as we are currently hitting at 55% with over $6,800 in seasonal profit. Our record now moves to 8-2 in plays of 2x or more. Time to get back to some consistent profit after treading water for a week. Good luck to everyone on the upcoming week.

Hey lta. Why is it that all books pretty much post the same number. Do they all take the lead from a particular book? Has anyone hat sets the books lines ever came out with how they are calculated. If you have any links to articles etc I would like to read them.

From what I understand, most books take the lead from Pinny (Pinnacle Sports), or at least it seems that they are the ones with the "direct line" from Vegas telling them when to change lines.

                                                    NBA 2011-2012 Regular Season 3/5/2012

                                                    Sixers (-2) 1x (Locked)

I suspect this one moves soon, so im locking it up now. I suppose people could make an argument thay this is a trap game but I just dont see it and instead believe philly is undervalued because of their b2b, 3 in 4 situation. However, philly has excelled all season in fatigue spots going 7-4 ats in b2b spots, plus both teams are playing their 5th game in 7 nights. This play is all about defense as philly dominates over the bucks in that category. More importantly, philly has one of the best mid range and perimeter defense which is what the bucks' offense is predicated on without bogut. In the last game between these teams in late january, philly won easily as 8.5 to 9 point faves. Some might argue revenge, but I think philly's loss last night to chicago should keep them motivated for this game. I have this game set at -3.5 for philly giving almost a full fg of value. Based on the foregoing, I am rolling with the sixers for 1x. Good luck.
