Based on some things I have discussed with one my contacts in Chicago sports media who covers the Bulls, we should see the season start around December 1st. The deal is almost done....

the deal completed 95% in recent time but this remain 5% is significant which is.......you guess it MONEY !!. The players want 53/47 while the owners want 50/50, so dont hold your breath, I don't see the season will start at all

but there are a lot of European leagues that have been so profitable for me
you can hit them unders very well in European leagues
in NBA many games go over the total so that angle is harder here
you need to stick with sides in NBA and it can be difficult
so after this short conclusion I say that european basketball is more profitable to bet on than NBA

Thoughts on the compacted schedule LTA?

Will depth be more important this year? Will veteran teams suffer a bit in the regular season? Will this affect team's momentum more? Will teams on long road trips have an ever tougher time this year? Will it affect teams that rely on game planning more than teams that are free wheeling, with less time to prepare? etc........

I'm going to have to make some adjustments because those B2B2B games and 6 in 7's are going to be a different concept. With a shorter schedule the have will have to weed themselves out from the havenots faster so I expect more competitive games with lower scoring because the effort should be there on most nights. I'm mostly interested in the effect of the crammed schedule and what it will do to older teams like Boston and SA. Whatever happens this year it's def going to be an anomaly for sure.

but you love the under's right ? can be a difficult yes, This is unprecedented waters,no; we had this once before, back in 1999. Even prince wrote a song about it: it's party like 1999 .... Knicks vs Spurs in the final
teams with good bench will hold out quiet well; for instant the Grizz, Dal
teams with run'n' guns like Denver, NYK and phx will slow it down on the road games
teams with half court with defensive archers will force low score & won more games are: Chi, Atl, Lakers, heats etc.

That's right, the bottom line is about some teams produce some consistency patterns out there that we can use.

Full writeup to come. I may add a taste to the ML or this play. I love the Bulls in this spot and it's all about continuity. The Bulls have been quiet in the free agent market, instead deciding to tweak the team and make it better by adding Hamilton. Led by Rose, the Bulls are the silent assassin of top caliber teams that is always underrated compared to the Heat, Lakers, etc. However, on this opening day, I expect the Bulls to run all over the Lake Show. As I said, this one is about continuity of players and knowing how to play together. The Bulls have that, while the Lakers are a mess right now. Players are on eggshells in fear of being traded and even if they made a blockbuster trade, they won't have enough time before Christmas Day to come together as a team in order to beat the Bulls. The Lakers are already without Odom because of their off-season mess and McRobers is nothing more than a role player -- he does not possess anywhere near the skillset to replace Odom. The Bulls stay humble and quiet led by Rose and are just getting ready to attack. I have a LOT more to say about this game and will provide a full writeup in the coming days. However, I wanted to get this one posted up as some have been asking what my first play of the season was going to be. Make no mistake, I think the Bulls win this game outright, but I will take them with the points for now. I am rolling with the Bulls for 1x. Good luck.

Couldn't agree more about this spot for the Bulls. Emotional high of home opener withstanding, it won't be enough. You hit the nail on the head with the continuity points, especially with a limited preseason. Bonus is I have it at +4

It's back up, but now it's +2.5. Hope you got the +3, but I don't suspect it will matter. I will most also be playing the moneyline on this one. I'm just hoping I can get an early posted ML before all the value is gone. I have a feeling this one closes around +1.5 or +2 and I would like get the best price possible on the ML.

It's unprecedented in that they never tried squeeze this many games into 4 months. However, I agree with your assessment that scoring will be down. I love the unders

In this case, I would recommend against buying up at this point because we might see some more back and forth market fluctuation. I think +3 might be available again. However, I do think this closes at +2 or less. Regardless of the points, I think the Bulls win and I will probably play them on the ML.

You have to be careful about buying points in basketball. It's not like the NFL where key numbers are of the utmost importance. However, in certain cases it makes sense. Plus, you only paid -115 not -120 so that's not too bad.
