I am definitely a better NBA handicapper but +2.4 UNITS is pretty solid considering the amount of plays I have put out so far. Hoopsedge charges $800 and they are only up 5 UNITS and they have been posting picks all season long.

So Connecticut has lost four straight times to Atlanta yet the line opens Conn -3.5 and quickly goes up to -5.5. Something is up with this game. Atlanta is on B2B but in the WNBA that isn't exactly a bad thing. Atlanta is 6-5 on the road while Conn is a nice 7-1 at home. Conn has been on a crazy 6 straight road game trip and won their last game @ INDY so they should be playing with some confidence coming back home. This line just doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering how much better Atlanta's record is. I just found some niceee information on this game. Conn is a perfect 8-0 in 1H this year while Atlanta is 0-8 their last 8 1H's on the road. I am going to roll with this.

Lynx are 3-4-1 in the 1Q at home, Storm are a nice 7-2 in the 1Q on the road. The Storm are also 8-2 their last 10 1Q's. I am going to go ahead and roll with the Storm in the 1Q, they are just a much better team in the Minnesota. Seattle is 17-2 while Minnesota is 7-11. I think Seattle will be up at least two buckets after 1.

Storm just played horrible in that 1st quarter, shooting a terrible %, getting badly outrebounded and turning the ball over. That quarter was really not like them today. Hopefully the Sun come through in the 1H and make it a positive day since I went x2 on them.

Bad 0-2 night dropping 3.3 UNITS. You learn a whole lot more from your losses than you do wins, days like this only make me stronger in the long run if you can fight through them without losing your money management.

I won't be posting my "locks" since I don't have any, lol. I will post my "of the year" and heavy plays for next year. I highly doubt I will be betting the Mens World Championships.

The public is hot on the Mercury today at around 70%. The line has moved accordingly from PHX +2.5 to PhX -1.5. Phoenix has won four of their last 5 games but three of the wins came against the two worst teams in the WNBA, LA/Tulsa. I think Phoenix is HIGHLY over-valued on the road today where they have struggled this year going 3-6. Minnesota on the other hand is highly undervalued coming off two close losses (both by 2 points), one of them being to the best team in the WNBA Seattle. Home team has won both games in this matchup this year.

When it's a 4 point movement like that, it's not just public money coming in on Phoenix but "smart money" as well -- wouldn't you say? But, hey, I'm with you on both picks. Let's hope the linemakers were correct in their original read on the game. GL to us all.

I think it's impossible to say that because it's the WNBA. You can't explain the line movements a lot of the time. This could very well just be a RAS pick that moved the line.

I am still learning this handicapping thing and slowly growing confidence. One question I have is.........Lynx is +1.5 (-110). With such a small margin wouldn't it be a better idea to play link SU @ (+105)?

Any ideas/thoughts are appreciated.

My record is 17-18 (-0.9 UNITS) with two plays pending. I am nowhere near as good in this league as I am NBA, I just don't have the time/patience to watch these girls play on a nightly basis. Also, this is my first full year handicapping the WNBA. I have been watching and playing NBA games for about 9 years now. Hopefully I can turn a small profit though and make real strides next year.
