#142And what happened after I said that?
As for the public favorites, you have to be crazy if you really think I am just looking at the betting public % and making my play. That is just one small, small factor. I am not using that as an excuse, It just is what it is. Please don't come in here and tell me that I can't be a little pissed about bad beats by 0.5 points, who do you think you are? I don't go into your thread and tell you how to post so show me the same respect.
no, but you did come into my thread after an 0-4 night and clearly point out that i was 0-4. then when i asked you if you went 0-4 as well you never replied which confirmed that you were simply pointing out my bad night.
sure you can be pissed - but you also give no credit to people who had the right side of the game - instead you cry that the winners were "squares" and that you're losses were still "sharp" plays.Comment -

#146that was an interesting comment - i never once said that you just fade the public. please quote the post.

I wasn't trying to throw you under the bus saying you went 0-4. I meant more like "ok you had a bad night 0-4, it happens to everyone but you are too good and you will bounce back the next night". I respect you as a capper and wouldn't disrespect you like that. Let's just make some money today and stop arguing! I have ZERO problem with you and value your opinion. Take PHX 1H as well, it's a strong playLast edited by sweetjones55; 04-20-10, 04:18 PM.Scared money don't make money

#149Ok guys, I am for sure going to take the Thunder +whatever and Suns 1H. I am going to wait on these lines to see if I get a better number. If the lines start going against our favor at some sites, just jump on them both immediately.Scared money don't make money

Phoenix 1H -4.5 The Blazers upset the Suns last game and I see PHX coming out pissed tonight. They let that last game slip and they will make it a point to come out and get a lead on Portland. The Blazers goal was to win one in PHX and they have done it, the motivation and effort will be far more minimal than game 1. Also, Phoenix is a MUCH better 1H team than 2nd half team and the exact opposite is true for Portland. Portland is a much better 2H team than 1H. Also, do you guys reall think that NBA is going to allow Phoenix to go down 0-2? I don't see that happening.
Phoenix is 30-13 ATS after giving up 105 or more for all you stat/trend guys.
OKC +7.5 -127 HEAVY This one is pretty simple. The Lakers came out and jumped out to a huge lead vs OKC in the 1st quarter as most expected. OKC was playing very tight/nervous with it being their first ever playoff game and they really knocked themselves out of the game in the 1st. The fact is that OKC won the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter by 6 points. They got it together and competed with LAL. OKC got the cover and they really didn't play well at all. Durant had a horrible game. I think this one goes down to the last minute.
Two of the best refs in the NBA for road teams are reffing the OKC matchup. Tom Washington is 38-27 ATS for the road team and Greg Willard is 36-28 for the road team. A tidbit on the OKC/LAL line movement, 70% of the public is on the Lakers and the line dropped from LAL -6.5 to -5.5, one full point of reverse line movement.Last edited by sweetjones55; 04-20-10, 04:17 PM.Scared money don't make money

#155Are you buying points to get OKC at +7.5? Line opened at OKC +6.5 and seems to be +6 across the board at the moment. Do you still recommend Thunder at +6? BOL tonight.Comment -

#158Sweet, what's the best way to look up previous games between teams and their stats? I'm just curious what previous scores have been between Boston and Miami. I have very little knowledge in the NBA to back up any opinions, but it seems like the public would be all over this total (literally and figuratively).
Also, I haven't seen much from you recently regarding RLM or lines holding despite public action. Does line movement support either of your plays today?Comment -

#165I see this being a cleaner game on both ends tonite. I see this game as being an entertaining one that goes to the wire and also goes over the posted total. I think Kobe will get his opportunity to close tonite on the heels of another 30+% shooting performance. Durant wil be more agressive tonite and will get to the FT as usual and hit more open jumpers. Artest did a good job with him last game as we expected, but some of those shots were just misses. It's hard to shut down somebody that is 6'10 and can move.Comment -
