Kobefanatic, be careful counting that next ring. There are 3 teams left in the playoffs & all have a very good chance of winning a 7 game series. Give me odds on the field & we can get down

i think it's a possibility, i think the suns won't be able to handle LA, but boston and orlando may be a hard fought series

Him dissapearing on offense was one thing but he played horrible on ball defense down the stretch.

Williams, not to rub salt in the wound but I'll tell you this much:

After the Cavs lost last game, many have come out with hyperbolic knee jerk reactions saying your guy will never win a ring and a flat out loser. I won't say this, because it's unwarranted. But what the last 2 games does show, is that LeBron hasn't shown that he's got it when it truly counts and when expectations are high.

Your first post in this thread talking about how Kobe only gets game winners.. and LeBron actually CLOSES games (and therefore is clutch) may have had some merit with respect to Bron, at least when the stakes were low in the regular season, but come playoff time when his team was facing an unimaginable 2-2 series knot against a team that no one gave a chance, he came up so small. And though the effort was better in the elimination game, he still did not produce and he definitely did not come through as an MVP should.

A closer, when it actually matters to the highest degree, he is not. At least through 7 years, he hasn't shown it.

I'm not saying LeBron will never win a ring, and will never, ever come up big in the truly big moments... but your first post is quite representative of many LeBron fans. It is premature anointment of a great player to be KING when he hasn't shown himself to be more than one of many great players.

Kobe quit on his team in Game 7 in 2006 against the Suns.

The difference is that while Kobe has no excuse for that performance in which he refused to shoot the ball in the 2nd half, the guy has won rings before. He's been there, and won. His fingers are not bare. Even if it's a slap in the face of his teammates, he's in a sense, earned the sense of entitlement. It's wrong, but he's earned it. The King has not.

I agree and disagree at the same time. Danny Ferry said today that had the elbow happened during the regular season, Lebron would likely have been out 3 to 4 weeks. That at the very least puts an asterisk on these last two games. game 5 I was not okay with, last night I was. His energy was much better and I can't remember ever seeing him grab 19 boards before. If you watched him mainly on offense the signs of an elbow injury were clear. Not only was the jumper off, but he couldn't grip the ball with his right hand. He had the ball knocked out of his hands 4 or 5 times last night...that rarely ever happens. An elbow injury causes you to be unable to tightly grasp your hand.

Also, going back to last year, you can't say he didn't come up big in big situations. He averaged something like 38/9/8 against Orlando. They got killed on matchup problems and they didn't have enough firepower offensively.

lebron aint shit face the facts he aint no champ he aint clutch he folds under pressure and has no heart he aint no jordan or kobe.I just realized that after this horrible playoff performance dont try and blame it on the elbow his elbow was fine He looked horrible before that they barely took care of the bulls and even loss one to them and got all the calls by the refs in the games they barely beat the bulls.Just face it lebron is overrated and is a cocky ignorant player with no heart who stuck up with himself. The only reason he so good is becaus eof his physical gifts he the biggest fastest most athletic player in the game without that he aint shit
