I wouldn't blame Rivers ability to coach as much as I would blame the personnel changes. Rasheed Wallace? Nate Robinson? Come on now, that's not a championship team. Where are the role players like James Posey?

Please, the problem doesn't lie on Doc Rivers, it's more like the players on his team ( accept Rondo ). Age has definitely taken its toll on K.G., Allen, Wallace, and Pierce. You may want to reconsider your original statement about Rivers. He's perhaps the Sole Reason Boston has made the post season in the last few years.

The Celtics refuse to play as a team at times way too many old stars on this team and Rondo is hated by most.
This team can play with the best of them when they play as a team/together
Rivers job is to make them play together but you can bring a horse to water but they may refuse to drink

The expectations of this team should be high and his job should be in jeopardy.
This team has been very good to me of late 5-0 last 5 games only game I bet on them I almost shit my pants against the cavs almost making that late come back!!!
