It appears my other thread was put up in the player's talk forum. I guess there is some informative stuff over there, but there is also a lot of filth and nonsense. I can't believe these forums aren't better moderated .

So I'm starting a new thread here with my system plays where I left off in the other one.

ATL is a covering machine at home, and Suns just got done losing to the Pacers after surrendering a 20pt lead.

OKC is a different team on the road, and MAvs are a different team at home. Dampier should be able to control the boards.

Tor +2.5 - toronto seem too match up well with ny and hopeful they wont shoot 20% in the 2nd half again. Also liking houston and pacers

These are all pure "system" plays. There is no handicapping whatsoever on my part. As I said in the other thread, I'm going to put up a pick for every game for the next two weeks and see if I can hit 55%, which is the current percentage since the system began. (246-199)

I don't necessarily play any of these games. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I often find myself shaking my head at some of the selections.

I will pass along to my computer your disagreement of the strong plays. I don't think she will mind.

On another note... I couldn't agree more with your assessment of players talk... Filth and nonsense.. SBR leasership is getting tired of it as well.. That is why they are taking quality sub forum threads and adding them to players talk. Hoping it rubs of on members.

75% of players talk contributors have never made a cent gambling in their life and have nothing benefecial to add to a thread. Just the lower rung of society.. most of them.

TGoat, do you incorporate a strength of schedule component into your system? ESPN has a pretty decent rating for it. Even though its the NBA, there is still apparently a pretty meaningful difference in SOS. I just added it last night, and it didn't look too great after seeing you mash me on both games, but I think I'll get a better feel for it with all the games today. Best of luck!

I was all with you on GS last night, and I'm with you on Toronto, but I have to make the idiot move and go against your strong play. I think this is one of those cases where strength of scheduling does matter. Miami is near the top, but Indiana is at the very bottom, and I have Miami by exactly 5 1/2 before the SOS adjustment.
