With so many people knowing that this game is a (C) bet everyone is going to be on Seattle knowing that it hasn't lost all yr. So -1 is all that you are going to be able to do. With +1.5 your going to have to almost win out right anyway just like you are -1 so I don't think its going to matter!

This is going to get shady if hes going to start using off-market lines with matchbook as we won't get his numbers.

Everyone knew that we were going to play them anyway today cause it was a JM play (C) bet. It is the same as taking them -1 they still have to win out right anyway. When we post a play alot of times they don't get the same exact number that we post either, cause the line has already moved. So when the line 1st came out you should have pounded the +1.5 like everyone else did. If we wait till later tonight and take the ML it would be -130 or -140 by the time the ML comes out.

seattle -2...ewww. i don't like that. detroit has been bouncing around with one days rest inbetween each of their last five games, all with travel involved, and they just got their wigs pushed back on saturday by indiana and will have had 2 days' recovery time before they meet the hapless, pathetic, pitiful-as-of-late storm. i will go out on a limb and say that i think the small market playing these games has pushed the line out too far and detroit +2 could very well be my personal play, but i don't know yet.

as far as going against the jm c play, here is the problem with playing a system like this in a small market: it's called "seattle is -2 on the road on tuesday when we all know they should be at least a slight dog, which, oops, they were before the line got ****ed up buy the chase money." jm money doesn't move nba lines like this, not to this degree at least....assuming that's what's moving this particular line and not ras or something else. jm will call it a win regardless of anything at all, so i'm not looking to be a part of the group that gets ****ed, because that sucks.

i don't know...might have to watch the line some more as i did want to play seattle until i saw this.

Seattle's line moved from 1.5 to -2. Shit that's 3.5 points already I don't think I want to take Seattle. Even thought they are 2nd in the Western Conference I still don't think they should be favored at all. The JM System is cool, but with the refs on Detroit, it all even out, so this game is a coin toss.

Washington @ Los Angeles, I think this game could end up with Washington getting blown out by the Sparks. There is the revenge angle for the Sparks as the Mystics blewed them out by 12 earlier this season. I think I'm going to have Monday off. Good luck guys.

I totally agree. Let's hope the public will pound Seattle even more, so that we can get +4 or maybe even +5 before gametime. If the line raises to +5 i buy a point and roll with Det + 6 Heavy.

I like the sparks too with only around 30 % on 'em. Maybe a ML play? What you think on that one?

But about the pattern doing some research if the team is favored -1.5, and they were blown out the game before they should win. But I will type out the data to prove this pattern soon.

Detroit has been blown out by 18 points or more three times this season:

1. time: Against the sparks by 20 points.
Next game: (also against the sparks) They won by 29 points.

2. time: Against Conneticut by 18 points.
Next game: Against New York, they won by 12 points.

3. time: Their last game, their were kicked out of iníana with a 23 point loose.
Next game: Tonight.

The two times Detroit won the following game, they were playing at home, just like tonight.

Of course two times is WAY too few to make a good trend - I just wanted to contribute with some info. Especially to all the JM backers.

A bit more info:

Detroit is 5-2 against the western Conf.
Seattle is 1-6 against the eastern Conf.

Good luck, whatever you choose to put your money on Detroit or Seattle tonight.
