Thanks to a comeback victory and a home-and-home sweep against the defending champions, the Indiana Fever have a chance for one of their longest win streaks in franchise history.
That attempt for a fifth straight win comes Friday night at Madison Square Garden with the start of another home-and-home series, this time against the New York Liberty.
With its best shooting performance of the season, Indiana (4-2) rallied from a 17-point deficit in the second half for an 82-70 victory Sunday against visiting Detroit. Tully Bevilaqua started the comeback with eight straight points, and Katie Douglas scored 17 of her team-leading 23 over the final 13 1/2 minutes.
“Tonight, I was in that rhythm, and my teammates were able to find me,” said Douglas, who is averaging a team-best 17.7 points. “We weren’t satisfied with going up (to Detroit) and getting one win. We needed to protect our home court. This is an Eastern Conference game, so we knew the importance of it.”

The Fever shot 54.5 percent and matched another season high with nine 3-pointers, hitting eight during their rally. Tamika Catchings scored 15 points on Sunday and in Friday night’s 66-54 win in Detroit, helping sweep the team that’s eliminated Indiana from the playoffs each of the last three seasons
The Fever have won four in a row five times in the franchise’s 10-year history but recorded five straight wins only once. With a sweep of the Liberty, Indiana can match its record six straight wins set from July 1-18, 2007.
New York, however, will come into Friday’s game looking to regroup from Tuesday night’s 69-57 loss at Minnesota.

This is my first time posting. I know most of us have heard of John Morrison NBA system. I've done some research and I think it works for WBNA as well. And it works for any team that three rd games in a row. Last night was Phoenix B bet, and I didnt even have to buy the usual three points. So far this year, when a team has three consecutive rd games and you but the 3 points, It's a perfect 5-0 with Phoenix winning outright their B bet as a underdog, and Chicago Sky winning The C bet on Tuesday outright. L.A. Would not be a play because they were missing two of their top scorers. Sacramento would be a play tonight, but they have the worst record in the league. So if you decide to bet them be very careful. Now looking at the schedule we have New York on (A) bet on Sat.

Thanks for the input, but I play my own parlays and teasers and do pretty well with them.

GG, you're probably right because I've missed 2 nices ones in a row. Mariners cost me a 6 teamer on Wednesday and Toronto cost me a 6 teamer last night. 5 out of 6 on both, if I had a big roll I'd bet them all straight but I cashed out and only kept a little bit of money in my account to play with for now.

It's cool if you want to try this but start a new thread. It will be easier to track and talk about that way.

I played the ML instead. Not much difference and better be on the safe side. Im feeling bad now, and I have this gutfeeling in my stomach that this is a bad bet. But then I read how SM was looking forward to this bet this whole week, so I placed a third of my bankroll in liberty now. Ill just tale you guys

Well if it makes you feel better out of the 10 times the NY Liberty played Indiana Fever, NY Liberty was favored twice (both at home). They lost one of the favored games and won the other. The 1st favored game was at home -3. And they won that in overtime by 6. And guess what date that was June 26, 2008 and today is what June 26, 2009.

The fact that the line has already come out for the home and home, Indiana and Liberty and Indiana tomorrow is -7.5 makes me like this Liberty game even more! Which means USUALLY when you are at home and favored by 8 usually on the road you are almost half that, with the fact that Liberty opened up as a favorite makes me like this game even more!

Right now bwin has New York @ -115 on the ML.
They also have New York -1 @ -110

At these odds wouldn't it be better to just go ahead and take the ML and put maybe a little more on it?

For a 100 euro bet the returns are 187 euro.
And for
New York -1 for a 100 euro bet the returns in case of a win are 191 euros. Only 4 difference. If I bought points it would cost me more.

At bet 365 right now it's New York -1.5 @ -111 and for the ML they have it @ -125. Big difference with bwin. To get it down to NY -1 on bet365 the odds drop to -120.
