They cut it down to 8 a couple times but yeah, overall they were playing from behind the spread most of the night. One shot goes in and the bet wins but overall the push was lucky.

Different series. Different opponent. Different Mavs team.

I see this more as a Boston/Knicks 2013 type series. Dallas will lose in 5 or 6 depending on what type of effort Houston comes up with in game 5.

They were just done. This series felt exactly like Mavs/Lakers 2011. When a team loses the first 2 at home then has an opportunity to win game 3 to get back in the series and blows it idk how you recover from that in a game 4 on the road. Plus which the other team always seems to come out with huge confidence and make a ton of 3's in those closeout games at home for some reason.

It's crazy that I have an opportunity to finish the "3 day weekend" up if the Mavs cover. They really better not blow this.

Why doesn't Carlisle just go to the hack-a-Smith/Howard/Capela on every possession? It's so obvious Dallas can't stop anybody especially when Harden is in the game.

One thing you have to credit Pop for is he doesn't get rattled if a guy makes 1 or 2 and just keeps going to it.

Dallas makes the occasional 3 to hang around but they always seem to miss that big shot that can really shift the momentum.

Let's see if they can make a couple big 3s tonight.

See like that 3 that Barea just missed (after Villanueva missed one two possessions ago) was huge. Houston has made those big shots. Dallas has been just off.

The only viable reason not to do the hack-a-whoever is that it keeps you out of transition, and much of this run has been transition 3's so I guess I can see where Carlisle is coming from.

Nice hits on Wiz, Seto. I wanted to bet a high spread but the most I could find on bet365 was only -13.5 at +260. I took it, but I definitely would've put $10 at +3600.

The -30.5 isn't in the spreads section, it's in the winning margins.
