#186question. What if both PR's are the same? Which spread do I use to add? The -/+ ?
Ex.
Team A = 95
Team B = 95Comment -

Doesn't really matter which you add. If you use the spread for the fav (-) and it is lower than -2, you will get a play for the dog. If you add the spread for the dog (+) and it is greater than 2, you will get a play for the dog. Either way, it should have the same outcome.Comment -

The other NBA PR's I have seen that are very accurate are the sportrends PR's. As I mentioned yesterday I use their PR's as a confirmation. That system also does not make alot of plays. Yesterday the only play was DET and it won.
There you ahve it.Comment -

#196Based on early lines, it looks like CHI will be a Rule 3 play and IND will be a system play. Keep monitoring for changes though.Comment -

#197I am not sure why your so down on this system. Just give it a chance. I have used it for years and it has made me a considerable amount of money and I never had a losing season. I have seen and used just about every handicapping system thats out there and I am telling you this is by far the most successful system I have ever seen. Look at the PR's it creates their pretty close to the bookies lines and it definitely finds value. I am not here to sell picks or systems. I am here to share my ideas and the system I am using with everyone so we all can make money. Hey for all we know the system may go negative for a while, I have seen this happen. But I have also seen days where the system went 15-0. If you or anyone else has any good ideas, lets hear them. So I say lets keep it cool and see what happens in the long run. As someone here mentioned the other day this system should be one of many tools you use.

Do you play the rule #3 bets or are those just a record to see how those work?Comment -

#198I am not down on it at all. I am all for systems and anything that will work. I am def pulling for this system. I just wanted to make a suggestion of putting up the side record from this thread since nobody was betting those days you had prior.

Team 1 = 95
Team 2 =95
Spread is Team 2 -3.
95-95=0
So, If I use -3 that = -3, play on Team 1? And if I use +3 = 3, play on Team 2?Comment -

Selected - other = net + selected spread (either positive or negative) = total
It should be more like this:
95 (T1) - 95 (T2) = 0 + 3 = 3 (Play on team 1 since it is greater than 2)
95 (T2) - 95 (T1) = 0 - 3 = -3 (Play on team 1 since it is less than -2)
Either way, you should come out with the same result if you make sure you are either adding or subtracting the spread for the "selected" team.
An easy way to remember a circumstance like this is that if two teams are evenly matched, you will always be playing the team getting the points (which is pretty logical). Make sense, or did I confuse both of us more?Comment -

#201With your formula format of:
Selected - other = net + selected spread (either positive or negative) = total
It should be more like this:
95 (T1) - 95 (T2) = 0 + 3 = 3 (Play on team 1 since it is greater than 2)
95 (T2) - 95 (T1) = 0 - 3 = -3 (Play on team 1 since it is less than -2)
Either way, you should come out with the same result if you make sure you are either adding or subtracting the spread for the "selected" team.

#204Yes I try to use the spread sheet for college hoops. I got a no play for Ill/Ohio st. I also had depaul using HC system, for the col. st/air force game-air force had 2 away games so I was told to leave games when teams have less than 3 games alone. All using overall system play. I don't see how you got ILL and S. Flor as plays.
For Ill/Ohio St. using HC system:
Ohio St. = 105.5
Ill = 106.5+3 = 109.5
109.5-105.5 = 4
4 + (-7.5) = -3.5, so play is on Ohio State
and
DePaul = 98.5
S. Flor = 96.5+3=99.5
99.5-98.5 = 1
1+(-5.5) = -4.5, so play is on depaul
Am I wrong?
And I also got N.C. State(winner), Maryland(lose)Comment -

And I also got N.C. State(winner), Maryland(lose)
OHIO St 100.5 & ILL 109.5 + 3 HCA = 112.5 -8 line = 104.5
therefore OH St 100.5 - ILL 104.5 = ILL 4. outside 2 pt margin ILL is a play.
Now go and calculate Creighton, Toledo, S. FLA and Col St
All wins.
By the way for those of you who are interested here is the col-pr link

#206Humor me here Formula to make sure I'm doing this correctly.. It Looks like there were a few more plays yesterday for College hoops..
Colorado (92)/TxTech (91.5+3=94.5) spread -10; 102 (92+10pt spread)-94.5= 7.5pt diff.. play Col
Boston College (98.5)/GaTech (94+3=97) spread -2.5; 101 (98.5+2.5pt Spread)-97= 4pt diff.. play BC
Or do these fall under rule 3?
Thanks in advance.
