Looks like a solid play because I remember the Lakers losing at home to the Grizzlies not too long ago too. The Lakers have a lot of problems on their team right now, which includes playing absolutely no defense, missing free throws, and not taking care of the ball. These are problems that won't be fixed overnight. Farmar's injury will force Fisher/Kobe to play a lot more minutes than they would probably like tomorrow too.

I always go back 5 games when I research. Here's what I got. The Spurs have scored 102, 96, 109, 100, 109 in the last 5 home games against the Kings, homes. That means they average 103.2 points at home against the Kings. I am nothing if not thorough, homes.Comment -

outside of the one with the 187 O/U, the O/U for all these games has been more than 213 and only once higher than 220 (227). I'm not sure if the 203.5 here is an adjustment based on the information provided by these game totals or how to play that, but i just know that this is not a good situation for the lakers to get a dominant win. I would not be surprised at all if the lakers win, but memphis only once in these 7 games hasn't kept it within 11, and the lakers were really hot last year during that stretch. They are clearly not right now, playing sloppy ball, turning it over, taking bad shots and failing to get critical rebounds (see miami). I'm done trying to say that the ATS streak ends soon, the books know that they can keep getting money on the lakers, but this is a bad spot for them to have to cover a 10+ point spread. I'll aim to buy it up 12 with "public donations" as CK says.

#44AWESOME few days CK! WOW!
Liking your card tonight. Any considerration at the Over in Portland/Denver. The over has hit 9-2 in the last 11 in Denver?
Adding NHL tonight to the card, Edmonton Oilers over Phoneix. Edmonton has lost 3 in a row. Phoneix are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Edmonton and 0-4 in the last 4 meetings versus Edmonton. The over is another play, Over is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings in Edmonton, Over is 31-6-2 in the last 39 meetings head to head.

#45First of all, I want to say one thing:
Everyone here knows that CK is an awesome capper....but what he is doing at NFL (that to me, a portuguese native, is the same like chinese domino) is unbelievableI'm 9-1 in the last week thanks to him 100%! (I got lucky yesterday because of the canceled bet at 49ers at my bookie when they offered 49ers +4.5)
yesterday with the giants covering I went 6-0 and saturday went 5-1 (see previous threads). I've hit all my bets, got lucky on the UNDER CLE/OKC, and just missed the UTA/CHI UNDER ck pick.
So 11-1 in one weekend is all I can ask for, and 70% of my success is part of ck success!
Or should I say that 100% of my success is thanks to ck, because of him I also became a better capper myself (even if that's means not making all of his picks and making some of my own).
Just wanted to share this with you all that like me, read everyday the CK leans!
thanks ckComment -

#48Orlando - 12 over Golden State
Cockie...
What do you think of this game.... Im finding a lot of trends that Favor Orlando such as...
For Orlando Curr. Last 3
as a home favorite of 9.5 to 12 points 3-0 13-6
versus poor defensive teams - allowing 99+ points/game 8-2
versus good offensive teams - scoring 99+ points/game 8-0
For Golden State
in a road game where the total is greater than or equal to 210 1-8
after scoring 105 points or more 4-12
versus good offensive teams - scoring 99+ points/game 1-6
Not only these but this is Golden State's 4th game on a long road trip they should be tiring down somewhat esp since they are a running team.. what do you think????Comment -

#52DaChosen1,
Orlando looks like such an easy play that I would be more inclined to just take their team toal when they play against the Warriors tonight. The Warriors are one if not the worst defensive teams in the NBA. Might as well tap into heir weakness and profit from it. The Warriors actually play the Magic well on the road 3-1 straight up (WOW) and ats in their last 4 games in Orlando. But it is a given that they will let Orlando score 100 points, as the magic has averaged 107 points per game at home against the Warriors.
Netprofit
You should wait for Denver to fall to 2. THERE WILL BE REVERSE LINE MOVEMENT going against Denver bettors, so you might as well wait it out untl the line falls to 2.5. People will panic, and start taking the Blazers (this is all planned by the linemaker) with the short number. When the line falls to 2.5, then buy a pointand play Denver at -1.5. I think you will be pleased with theresults. This is a home and home series with these two ballclubs. If Denver is gonna get one of these, it sure as hell ain't gonna be the second end of a double back to back (4 games in 4 days). It goes down tonight. But moreover than that, whoever looses this game is going to get the cover in the next game. I say Denver blows their wad tonight to defend thei homecourt only to get BLOWN out tomorrow against the younger Blazers.
The Spurs will more than likely get the job done. Sacramento is primed for another loss as usual, but an ats loss at that. They have been skating on thin ice and are due for a 20 point loss in this game.
Nets moneyline? In a word....no. Put no more than a chump change bet on that moneyline. It doesn't look good to get that one. I suggest the other side for this game, but at the rate that it is going it will be Houston-6 or so by gametime.Comment -

#53showtime2000,
My bad. Yeah if Portland/Denver are gonna go over in one of the two games, it would have to be game 1. I think that game 1 will be close with Denver pulling it out, and that would favor the over. But however, the under will be more likely in game 2 tomorrow in Portland. I really see that one as not close at all. Denver will be out of gas in that one with 200 miles to go.Comment -

#54lolisiahlol,
I don't know, just go down the line and pick teams at random that you think have absolutely no chance at covering and then instead of doing a teaser, you might as well do a parlay and get more bang for your buck, because you don't have much of a chance of hitting a teaser anyway. The only kind of teaser that I recommend is a teaser that involves taking the Celtics and Cavaliers. Now you've got something. My advice is to stop doing teasers immediately and start wasting that money on a 5 team parlay instead and do it for $25.00. It's a lot like playing the lottery anyway. Don't put much stock into it.Comment -

#57I ended up catching Denver at -3, then the line went up to 4, so I had to take this game at -3.5 instead of the desired 1.5. I doubt that the line is gonna have enough reverse movement now to take the line below 3 again. I had my chance to get it at 3 and take it down to 2, but I messed up playing the waiting game. Drat! Oh well, in a way, it's still okay, as it would take a 4 point win in order for me to cash the ticket anyway with any line from 2 all the way through 3.5. But 4 means that the Nuggets would have to win by 6 now. I suggest that potential bettors who like the Nuggets to get the lne below 4, and play tem at 3.5 or 3 whichever you choose. You get more bang for your buck by only taking a half point off.
So my updaed card looks like this now
Houston-3.5
Toronto+3.5
Denver-3.5
NC State+2.5
Utah State-3.5
Bears-3 1st half
Still waiting for the San Antonio team total to be announced at Greek.com. Everything else was played lightly at $300.00 for the NBA games and NFL game and $150.00 for the college basketball games.
Notice how money management is still in play regardless of how much money I made this weekend. I am over the 40K mark now, but I still use the same set of rules despite making 13 grand on a few large plays. And yes I am still fading myself on my seperate book with small moneyline plays for the other side. I don't care if the moneyline is -1400. I still play a couple of dollars on it instead of giving it away for vigorish. I want ALL of my money, even when I lose, gabeesh? I hope you girls and boys are out there listening and taking notes. In order to do this thing of our exclusively or a living, you have to have astounding money management. You must make money even when you lose. I don't care if it's only 2 dollars. Anyway, on to my lottery treat for the day.
And I will put $25.00 on the following parlay once the team totals are announced:
San Antonio team total to go over
Orlando team total to go over
Houston-whatever
Toronto+ whatever
Denver-whatever
NC State+whatever
Utah State-whatever
$25.00 to win $1875.00
A nice neat 7-way $25.00 gift for the books because more than likely (8% chance of it hitting)I will lose it and give it back to them. But if it ever hits...Then it will more than make up for the $25.00 investment, no?Comment -

#60Carmelo is out for tonight's game. It is apparent that his sore elbow is going to cause him to miss the game. Another late breaking news story, gents. I already had the Blazers on the moneyline anyway for a small play. Looks like we should make a play fo Denver's moneyline as well, as even without Carmelo, they can still win this game. Don't laugh at that last statement. They are more than capable of winning without Carmelo in the lineup. Matter of fact, their production will be identical. On December 1st, Denver beat a better team, the Houston Rockets 104-94 with Carmelo out of the lineup at home. No sweat. In that game Billups poured in 28 points and J.R. Smith scored 19 points. No problems, gentlemen. Don't panic.Comment -

#61With the announcement of Carmelo's injury, the Greek has it down to a PK, which is just fine with me. If they make Denver a home dog, I am going to pound their moneyline a little higher than I would have. Squares will pour money in on the Blazers. They won't win this game. What a shame. But the Nuggets will be tired after doing so. Tomorrow looks really bad for the Nuggets after playing this game shorthanded. J.R. Smith loves minutes though!Comment -

#68Carmelo is expected to miss the home and home series against the Blazers. Here is more information regarding his injury.
Carmelo Anthony will miss the next three Nuggets games with a lingering elbow injury, according to the Chris Tomasson of the Rocky Mountain News.
He's hoping to return Sunday against the Knicks (although in a conflicting report, the AP suggests he could play Friday vs. Philly and only miss two games). Dec. 22 - 1:17 pm et Source: Rocky Mountain News Rocky Mountain NewsComment -
