PLAY 80: PISTONS -1 -108 Risk $270 to win $250 (Heritage)

The Pistons played an absolutely horrible defensive game last night against the Bulls. Noah dominated the glass and it doesn't get much easier tonight with the Brazilian Beast controlling the paint. THe pistons will pick up the energy on the glass tonight guaranteed. Their offense is clicking right now and Cleveland is one of the worst teams in the NBA imo without Irving. I've stated this many times. Pistons should be able to win this game by double digits but no way I would take an alt. line with the Pistons on the road. Omar Casspi needs a few more games to find his rhythm imo and will have a difficult time shooting over the longer Prince. Pargo is solid on the defensive end but Brandon Knight is just a little craftier with the ball and his length on the defensive end should bother Pargo in the pick and roll as he'll probably be forced into some bad decisions. Monroe needs to beast up tonight for the Pistons on the glass and I expect him to. Varajeau is having a good season but let's make this clear, Monroe is a better player than Varajeau. Drummond is finally coming into his own and Cleveland has no one they can bring off the bench to defend him so it'd be wise to leave either Thompson or Varajeau in there to keep him off the glass. Detroit just has a plethora of weapons and with Waiters out for the Cavs that takes out both your best perimeter player (besides Irving obviously) and one of your most versatile defenders as he can guard multiple positions. Alonzo Gee will have to guard an energetic Kyle Single who has a couple inches on him at least. Expect Gee to play a lot of minutes here as long as he stays out of foul trouble because he is going to be the Cavs best perimeter defender in this game. Stucky and Maggette and Charlie V off the bench are all capable of scoring 20 points against this Cavs defense that is horrible in my opinion. Cavs best bench player is probably Daniel Gibson and he's either hot or cold.
