SA are struggling big time now without their two best scorers on the court, although they till have a streaky team capable of going on runs, I don't see Connecticut losing this one. Connecticut need to start winning some games and attempt to get their season back on line. To help them do this they are likely to have two key players (Renee Montgomery and Tan White) return from injury for this game. SA also lost Delisha Milton Jones to injury in their 87-71 loss to Minnesota and is unlikely to play today. Line has now moved from +2.5 into +1.

LA VS Seattle Storm
Sparks had a disappointing defeat losing their first game at home to the short handed Phoenix team. Im expecting them to bounce back big time against Seattle. Sparks won their first game of the season at home beating Seattle 102-69. Seattle have since found a bit more consistency but I don't see them hanging around in this game. LA have the best points scored to points allowed difference at 9.2. Seattle Average 69 points whilst LA average an impressive 85. There are no injuries to the LA squad and no changes to the Seattle side who are without their two best players all season. Books have adjusted from LA's disappointing previous 2 games at home but look for them to adjust here and put up some impressive numbers.

Looks like i was wrong on connecticut. They have put up 8 more shot attempts, rebounded better and have less turn overs but they are down by 12 with 4 mins to go. Lets hope LA cashes

2 cellar dwellers will go up against each other and try to climb out of the bottom of the standings. Ateneo's record of 1-4 is misleading, they are the defending champions and have won the league for 5 straight years now. The only reason for the poor start is the coaching change and the injury their star Kieffer Ravena had.

This bet is not much about Ateneo being the 5-peat champion but more of UP always being the worst team in the league. Year in and year out, they finish dead last and this season is no different. Their 4 losses have all been 8 points or more and with Ateneo trying to salvage their season, this game will be a rout. The quality and depth of Ateneo's lineup will just be too much for UP to overcome.

Players have to be in the starting 13 for the bet to stand, and Fifita started on the interchange.
