West Tigers v Melbourne Storm - The tigers have been impressive winning 3 from their last 4. Im suprised to say the least, with the amount of talent the team has lost (injuries and leaving club) they have done well to get a few wins together. But they are facing a team who is incredibly talented and disciplined, something which the Tigers lack. Gareth widdop is out but we will see the return of veteran Brett Finch, and the Big 3 look to back up from Origin without any injuries. All over Essendon tonight, West Coast with too many important outs and have struggled all year, they'll be exposed for a lack of footspeed tonight IMO. They've got 2 first gamers and 1 second gamer as well and their bottom 6-8 players look really weak on paper. Shuey is also a late out which only weakens West Coast further. Taken some of Essendon SU at $2 earlier in the week and when I saw the selected sides today I've got various amounts on Essendon SU at 1.83, -3.5, to win by 25+ and 40+. In other words, if Essendon lose I'll be a very unhappy chappy

It is a tougher match than it first appears tonight. The eagles still have a lot to play for here, and still have one of their stronger sides for the year. The bombers will come out fired up, hard to tell how long it lasts for. I'm sticking to just the first quarter, not playing the full game. The good value for the bombers is drying up now too, so you have to pick your spots carefully.

I have no idea when it gets released...As for united, Sir Alex is technical director so he will still have a say in some matters, Moyes has shown he is willing to strengthen the team with what looks like some possible big signings with Thiago Alacantra from Barca, Baines from Everton and a few other names being rumoured! But Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all look like they are spending big this year so it will be alot closer next season! I'm excited because ill be seeing my beloved united in two weeks here in Sydney against the A-league all stars!

The general thought here in England is that man city and Chelsea wil overtake man utd next year. I can't wait for the new season, should be the closest yet! Now that Im getting more involved with WNBA and looking into so many aspects of the stats of each team etc, I appreciate even more the effort Sando must have gone to throughout the NBA season doing write ups and accurate plays across multiple sports. I think Ive averaged about 4 hours sleep per night this week trying to get ontop of the books whilst juggling work and other commitments. But it has definitely been worth it with a great start of 11+ Units on top. Ive got some of the guys at work laughing at the fact Im getting into the WNBA but at the end of the day Im the one thats laughing and they have even started to get on board themselves. Lets keep that momentum going. . .

WNBA +11.78 Units

Phoenix Mercury VS Washington Mystics
If anyone hasn't watched a WNBA game yet, the Phoenix Mercury are the best team to watch as a spectator in terms of their offence. They have some really nice shooters and go getters on their team posting big numbers consistently and they have been without key player Penny Taylor for more that a season with a knee recon and seem to be coping really well. As mentioned in previous plays, Phoenix is the highest scoring team in the comp and naturally attracts some big game totals from the books.

Washington Mystics are an average team across all stats. PPG, Rebounds, Assists and Points Allowed rank 7th, 8th, 7th and 8th. The best part about this game is the Washington Mystics have played much better at home this season and struggled on the road. So Im expecting them to keep up with the Phoenix tempo. It was less than a week ago that they travelled to Phoenix and lost 90-82. (172 Point game).

Biggest problem area behind Washington is their 15.5 turn overs per game season average playing into the hands of Phoenix's offensive game. One strange stat I cant get my head around is the shot opportunites when these teams played last time. Washington actually had 29/72FG 40.3% to Phoenix's 32/62 51.6%. So my theory is if Washington can make a higher FG% at home and keep up with Phoenix's high scoring game, the game total should wind up being similar to the previous played.

Phoenix's line has also dipped down to -4.5 from 5.5 earlier in the day.

I like both Phoenix to cover and the Over in this game. Phoenix are the more consistent team and their accuracy will be hard to beat. So far they have not been the team who plays a tight shutdown defence to backup their offence (bit like a Golden State side in the NBA)

Man there is just no existence of defence in this game its unreal. Phoenix has 9 turn overs which have hurt them early but they are clawing their way back now.
