That was the result of the Magic/Mystics game. I accidentally placed a bet on the Magic -15.5 because the line was the same as the other game and I wasn't paying attention. Thankfully all bets hit, two on Rabbitbrew's awesome capping and the other on my dumb luck.

Sando a rest is always good, as this work is 365 days a year and basically 24 hours.

I promised a bet on Portugal's next game in the Under 20s soccer so it is, Portugal vs South Korea Under 20 soccer world champs:

So I thought Portugal would open as a huge favorite here but I was wrong and the 1x2 odds have actually gone from 2.00 down to 1.80 on portugal on most sites. Still, what everyone seems to be agreeing with me is that we (portugal) suck on defense right now, specially if we look at the quality of our attacking guys. Like I said I don't follow soccer much but I know some of the players and one of my best friends should actually be playing if not for bad circumstances for him during this season. We have one great defender and that's basically it. The left back and the right back are both guys that are basically only playing by "name" and not current quality and the fact that we allowed two goals from Nigeria (could've been more) says it all. This said, Portugal has some great quality in the attack and lots of firepower and have beaten teams that are clearly better than south korea recently, so I will not be betting against them with these odds. I will play the over 2.5. I am reading that Korea is sort of a slow team on defense and that's good because we have deadly wings in 1x1 situations and guys who really like to run with the ball and risk through passes. This said, I believe Portugal will score at least 2 goals here and I don't see why Korea should not score as well. Portugal also has a problem with their midfielders and wings: like I said, most are guys who like 1x1 situations and risky passes, but there's no one that will hold the ball down and really try to set a small pace to the game, which will expose our defense ever further. this said, here are my bets:

Over 2.5 1.72$ @ bet365 - 1 unit
Portugal winning and over 2.5 2.62$ @ bet365 - 0.5 unit

Just a sidenote: apparently Illori, who is portugal's best defender easily and in consensus for everyone except the coach, will be sitting out again. And so will the best defensive midfielder. over 2.5 is down to 1.66 actually.

Atlanta were up by 10 pts going into the fourth quarter and blew the lead only coming away with a 1 point victory. Now as I mentioned earlier Indiana are in struggle town at the moment, they are 1-6 as opposed to Atlanta's impressive 7-1. Atlanta has been given a reasonable -13 point line for this match which I love. This game should be a blow out. Atlanta wont let their guard down at home after almost losing to an average Connecticut side, Im expecting a big emphasis on defence and will be surprised if Indiana can put up 55 points. Atlanta only give up 70 points and 12 steals on average for the season. Atlanta average a massive 14.8 winning margin over their 4-0 home record, and they are yet to play a side in as bad shape as the Indiana Fever. Get on this one early as the line may move if Tamika Catchings is listed as out for the Indiana Fever (she missed Saturdays game with a back strain and listed as day to day). She would be the 5th key Injury to the Indiana Fever.

EDIT: Also another fun fact, these teams played on the 31st of May this year in Indiana, end result was Atlanta up by 9 points. Usually in basketball a home court advantage could mean 4-5 points advantage. Im estimating Atlanta win here by 19-20pts.

Big cash on Atlanta earlier. I was pretty confident on that one coming out on the right side. As suggested Tamika Catchings didn't take the court, and even one of their rookie players was a late withdrawal. Atlanta had all 11 of their players take to the court where as Indiana only played 8 players. I was surprised to see some stats such as rebounds in Indiana's favour, but FG%, 16 steals and 8 blocks and 18 total assists were in our favour.

Ive just finished checking out the Phoenix and San Antonio game, there is a bit of value in the -5 points with Phoenix but Im not confident in the unpredictable San Antonio side who have covered their last 2 spreads against better teams. These teams are also two of the worst defensive teams, and Phoenix are the best offensive team, so Im expecting the total of 166 to be pushed a bit tonight but the line seems about right.

Im leaving this one today and not making a play, San Antonio are a bit too unpredictable at this stage.

I wouldnt say tennis is my strongest point, and i don't spend too much time analyzing it only because its so unpredictable these days.

Ill definitely have a write up for this weeks NRL, i think i would have to agree with your 1-12 ($2.50 sportsbet) pick for Queensland. I cant see QLD losing this with all the injuries and suspensions to the blues. Sportsbet have a special on tonight's game where they will refund your first bet if Greg Inglis scores, i'd say he has a great chance at doing that, he is almost unstoppable near the line.

I think the over should hit but im staying away because of how surprisingly well NSW defended in the first game.

Its hard to build up from $50 but its definitely possible, i started off with $20 in my pocket a couple of months ago and put on two multi's and ended up with $200.

If i were you i'd look around, trigga has been giving some great tips lately, put a few $10 parlays that pay around 10/1 and get it building that way. One thing to be wary of is not to put the same picks in every parlay because you can bet your ass it will probably end up burning them all (happened to me too many times).

Ultimately you want to have maybe 5% of your bankroll as 1 unit so if you start with $200 you bet $10 per unit and to try find value plays that pay around even ($2.00). Starting with $50 your most likely going to end up getting impatient and blowing it all at some point which im assuming is what has happened to you and most us before, but discipline is the key.

Starting off small is tough, gotta string together a couple winners in a row. Wait till you find a solid 2-4 picks you feel real good about and bet them straight $10-20 each. Personally I donever reccomend parlays, its the #1 way people lose. Try going all in too maybe, if you can hit 2 straight against the spread, assuming you get 1.9 you'll be at almost $200. Obviously very risky and if all you have is a 50 to spare a week you might want to go another route, as losing it all in 1 night and having no action for a week would suck. Basically, gotta hit your first few picks and build something up. With $50 going 0-3 or something wouldn't leave you with much and you'd probably go tilt and throw the remainder on a parlay or whatever. Find the winners and hammer the fukkers boys!
