i follow super league closely and i do not like that line at all especially in the wildcats favor, id be more tempted to play the broncos plus all those points,,london are in a transitiional period at the moment they have just released a couple of fairly average players including 35 yr old craig gower whom was a defensive liability his lack of speed and lateral movement in comparison to the younger more athletic halves was like night and day and this meant they had to send numbers in around him whenever they anticipated his upcoming tackle (a lot more 1 on 1 tackles/ less bodies in the ruck in esl) but this was never done to great effect, now though a familiar name jamie soward is suiting up for his first match for the broncos...

Whilst i think soward is a lemon of a league player, the esl is a different dynamic and i believe if he has the motivation he could excel in this league. one of his greatest strengths is his runnning and footwork of which he rarely shows in nrl but there are a lot more gaps and lazy defenders in esl which could see him flourish. Also he will steady the ship and keep the broncos within a fighting chance in game just through his kicking game....aussies will remember travis burns right well what if i told you he is the star of a esl team at the moment whom are in some dynamic form actually and he is being praised by the club and its fans as the "buy of the season",,,,just goes to show you

Tough one to call, if I had to back anything in the game I'd do Wakefield but they have a tendency to take their foot of the gas at home to the poor teams so they may not cover, no bet for me

Ok gents, WNBA games for tomorrow. Sorry for the late post for the Aussie guys, 2 of these games are starting around 430-5AM Aussie time.

San Antonio Silver Stars VS New York Liberty
San Antonio have been one of the big under performers so far this season, they managed 2 home wins in a row earlier before going on a 4 game losing streak losing by large margins. San Antonio have a lot of short term contract players filling in for 2 big injuries to their starting 5. Jayne Appel their centre suffered a concussion at practice 2 games ago and is still in doubt for this game. New York are currently undefeated at home and had some impressive wins over Atlanta and Connecticut. Neither team is known for high scoring and I wouldn't be surprised if this game goes under the game total of 148. I think a line of 5.5 is an achievable spread for New York to hit today and is the better play here considering New York recently beat 2 much better sides by comfortable margins.

Connecticut Suns VS Atlanta Dream
Atlanta are on a roll at the moment, they are off to one of their best starts in franchise history and boast some pretty impressive stats. They currently average a bit over 79ppg only allowing 69ppg holding their opponents to 36% shooting for the season, which is by far the best combo of defence and offence in the WNBA. Connecticut's off to a 2-5 start to the season struggling to put together 4 quarters of basketball. Connecticut do have a good record against Atlanta at home winning the last 4 contests, but judging purely on form its hard to go past the numbers that Atlanta are putting up on a consistent basis.

Tulsa Shock VS Minnesota Lynx
I like the look of the game total in this game. The only thing that worries me is the unpredictability of Tulsa. Tulsa are the North Melbourne of the WNBA. They have the ability to put up big numbers, but are prone to defensive lapses and have issues putting together consistent basketball over all 4 quarters. Minnesota are one of the heavy weights, but have suffered 2 strange losses to lower rated teams. The reason I like this game is Minnesota have had heaps of road games in the schedule to start the season. On the stat sheet they average 82.6PPG. In their 3 home games this season they average 92. Although their last 2 games have been at home, Tulsa have found some form winning both games and posting 92 and 83 point totals. Their road record is pretty bad to say the least, and they only average 70.8ppg while being on the road. Being that Tulsa has improved their last 2 games, I think tonight they will be a bit hotter than usual away from home. Game Total is currently set at 161.5, Im estimating the game come in at 166-167 tonight.

Washington Mystics VS Los Angeles Sparks
I have not had much chance to watch either of these teams, so wont be making a play here. Los Angeles are the better team for sure and should win, however -13 is a pretty hefty line in the WNBA.

I promised a bet on Portugal's next game in the Under 20s soccer so it is, Portugal vs South Korea Under 20 soccer world champs:

So I thought Portugal would open as a huge favorite here but I was wrong and the 1x2 odds have actually gone from 2.00 down to 1.80 on portugal on most sites. Still, what everyone seems to be agreeing with me is that we (portugal) suck on defense right now, specially if we look at the quality of our attacking guys. Like I said I don't follow soccer much but I know some of the players and one of my best friends should actually be playing if not for bad circumstances for him during this season. We have one great defender and that's basically it. The left back and the right back are both guys that are basically only playing by "name" and not current quality and the fact that we allowed two goals from Nigeria (could've been more) says it all. This said, Portugal has some great quality in the attack and lots of firepower and have beaten teams that are clearly better than south korea recently, so I will not be betting against them with these odds. I will play the over 2.5. I am reading that Korea is sort of a slow team on defense and that's good because we have deadly wings in 1x1 situations and guys who really like to run with the ball and risk through passes. This said, I believe Portugal will score at least 2 goals here and I don't see why Korea should not score as well. Portugal also has a problem with their midfielders and wings: like I said, most are guys who like 1x1 situations and risky passes, but there's no one that will hold the ball down and really try to set a small pace to the game, which will expose our defense ever further. this said, here are my bets:
