Cheers, another good day today with 3 winners and a 2/3rds saver getting home from the 5 races.

Probably wont have time to update the winnings from the last 3 days but will make sure i do so before Wed racing. if Sept is even half as good to me as Aug was i will be happy.

I did say i would work out the weekend before Wed racing but wont have time. Fully focused on the form tonight and after Wed racing will go back and work out the profit loss for the whole week. Have winning days on fri/sat/sun to include. then will update the total p/l since the start of last month after tomorrows bets are settled.

I do form both the video and form guide. I think doing one with out the other is just not as effective. Though i use the form guide 75% and videos 25%. I still have room to improve in my videos and note taking tbh and hardly use times. So much more room for improvement that i am bulding on.
But by watching the replays a few times can get a good idea of how a horse is (or is not) progressing.

Like Longeron i declared after watching it 2 starts ago that it was ready to win at its next race..turns out it needed an extra run and at its 2nd start won today for a nice $510 collect.
So i was one race off.
But without the replays would have been a horse to almost avoid on form guide alone tbh.

So i am a big fan of combining both.

this guy supposedly ran at a pretty mad ROI over a long period of time betting big, not quite as well ak is going though.

the book is moreso drama about how he went into hiding when thugs were after him but there is some info about how he goes about it

^ I have read the book. I would have preferred it had it gone into more detail about the bets/selection process etc. But still a very entertaining read i would recommend.

Well another nice winning day, the streak continues. Will work out P/L later but was a decent day. Got tipped into some big results at syd which was fun.

cheers mate. Just realised that I mistyped the odds on human league. Was $4.40 not the $2.40 but either way it paid $5.40 on the totes which was nice. ran like a $2.40 shot.

I probably shouldnt be posting bets when at work on a business call hence the rushed mistype of the price but im sure anyone who checked he odds knew what i meant. And what my employer doesnt know wont hurt then

Was a good race with the quinella pretty much never in doubt from the 400m point. nice and easy. thats the way i like them.

weird day with the only bet in race 5 a late scratching and charmed harmony the big bet in race 7 scratched meant we only bet 1.5 races.

Managed to get a winner in those 1.5 though is the good news.

Well done again. Played a little trifecta with your selections in the last but did not good.

Would have changed my strategy completely if i knew charmed harmony would not run going into that race. but when it was all said any done i would have been okay with the 2 small bets on the other 2. Though probably not at the odds they would have got to after the scratching of the fav.
Lots of bad luck for Bashan in that race held up like 300m of the straight - i have only down the replay once but would expect it to spring off that race and win this prep, whether the market overvalues the 'bad luck run' like normal is another thing. but crazy hard race in the end for tri's!
