Yeah I'm not comfortable with that line, I think the right play is Freo 1-39

Just over 2 units profit for the week for 5 profitable weeks straight. Didn't see a great deal of good opportunities this week so I played conservatively, be back next week for more

Probably wont happen again the rest of the year! I figured both teams have important back men out and good forward lines, it was going to be hard for Freo to shut down the Eagles

It's hard to know what the saints are going to bring. We have been playing ok but for only 3 quarters, Cornes getting rubbed out will help. I will probably stay away from that one. Why you like Melb and North? Carlton are fighting to get in the eight and North are gone after last week. The Lions have been playing some pretty decent footy the last few weeks also

I consider Betstar to be the best bookie I use, and I still hold that thought. But there are a few examples of why I can understand why the average/casual punter my have some reservations. I'm a stickler for going through individual transactions of both my bank statements and betting summaries to make sure everything is in working order. Other people who aren't as dedicated to investigating bet results and transaction records probably won't be able to recommend them as a great bookie.

Tonight I took Geelong -21.5 in the VFL and it was settled as a loss (they won by 43 points), and it's only because I entered the live chat that they fixed the error.

It's not the first time I have had to enter live chat to get them to fix up an error. Earlier in the year I backed "any other player" to score the most goals in the Geelong and Bulldogs game, and Harry Taylor kicked the most goals and he wasn't listed. It was only due to me entering the live chat that they corrected the mistake, as it was initially settled as a loss.

Also, late last year, I deposited $200 into my betstar account and it wasn't until the next week that I realised $400 had been taken out of my bank account (two separate $200 transactions), yet I had only been credited with a $200 balance. Again, I had to get on live chat to alert them of the error, which they fixed straight away.

Their customer service is very, very good and their promotions are the best around. Betstar suits me down to a tee, because I always double check to make sure bets are settled correctly and mistakes won't get past me. I record every single transaction down to eliminate these potential errors from happening.

johno, what's up with the underdogs in afl. last week i think overall if you played straight dogs it ended -1. But the week before last and this week the dogs are killing it. Is this the tendency this year?

I think it shows just how close the competition is, anyone in the top 14 can challenge. GC in particular have been impressive, you just have to be on the right side at the right time, makes it hard
